Colleen is the most amazing midwife. I was so grateful to have found her when I was pregnant with my first. Her care is top notch, her staff is wonderful as well. Wow her guidance I was able to birth 2 boys completely natural. Laboring in water, essential oils and support from my husband, her and her team made that possible. I wish I could have a bazillion more babies, and she would be my midwife every single time. Unfortunately 2 was my limit. Thank you Colleen. I appreciate all you did for me.

I had Colleen as my midwife 16 years ago with my, now almost 16, first baby. I loved her. She truly has a special place in my heart. Unfortunately, due to being so high risk, she was unable to care for me during my 2nd and 3rd children. My niece and step daughter, and best friend now go to her. She is simply amazing. I miss her compassion, understanding and genuine love for her patients. All these years later, I am EXTREMELY thankful to have had the opportunity to deliver my first born under her care! Highly recommend!

My experience with Colleen Brezine wad far from an enjoyable one. Upon my 14 week check up which mind you this was my 3rd pregnany had 2 previous full term healthy pregnancy with zero complications tells myself and my SO that she is unable to find a heart beat and I could be experiencing the on set of miscarriage. As you could imagine my SO and I were in tears and hysterical over the situation thinking I had a 14 week gestational baby dead inside of me. There was no ultrasound tech in the office so we were sent to a location a few miles away and forced to wait in utter agony to be seen. Ultrasound was done and behold a thriving, healthy, baby boy! This lady is an evil, cold hearted you know what! I made it my absolute mission to avoid even the sight of her face through out the rest of my care at westshore midwifery associates. How about instead of jumping to such conclusions to.chalk it up to your cheap, faulty fetal doppler that never works correctly, instead of jumping to tell parents their baby could be dead!!!!!! Her unprofessionalism is by far not only an embarrassment to her but the entire practice!

I love Colleen as my midwife! She is very straight forward and helpful. I have not given birth yet, but I am looking forward to the holistic experience they offer. Going to this kind of midwifery practice is much better than my experience with Cleveland Clinic OBs. Womens' bodies were made to birth babies and, except in extreme cases, all the interventions are unecessary. Colleen and her associate midwives are all very reassuring and do not push for anything you do not want.

I switched hospitals at the last minute because I was not comfortable with my Ob gyn at metro health. In one visit, Colleen made me feel comfortable and understood the natural birth experience that I wanted. Colleen was great, she had such a warm personality and I felt like both my son and I had the best care possible under brezine. My childbirth experience was a water birth in st johns westshore. I was fortunate to not even need a motrin during our stay. Myself and baby were healthy and stayed the minimum 48 hours.

Colleen is amazing. She helped me have a medication free birth by supporting me and really listening to my wishes. Even though I was asking for meds during transition she kept asking me to just make it through 'just one more contraction', and it worked! She is so supportive of how you want to birth, and has TRUE faith you can do it the way you hope to. She also specializes in water birth, which is wonderful. I am now pregnant with my 2nd, and wont consider seeing another midwife. Colleen is the best one around!
