My husband is a patient of Dr. Opensky's. We have been extremely fortunate to have this podiatrist in our medical plan. He is very compassionate and treats his patients with the respect that they deserve. We had been looking for a podiatrist that specializes in diabetic foot and thank God we found Dr. Opensky!

My hammertoe surgery came out terrible! He said the swelling would go down and it didn't. I have a second toe that is fatter than the rest of the toes. He loves to give you cortisone shots and loves getting your ingrown toe nail out without numbing spray. He likes to see you cringe with pain. He took post surgery x-rays but i never saw them. He just said it looked good but i asked him after 8 weeks of toe being fat still "whats the deal did you leave gauze in there"! I won't even talk about my ankle that had cleaning up by arthroscopic surgery. He said i actually need a second surgery called Hmmm i forgot but he pull apart my ankle from my leg and inserts 3 rods to realign my ankle and i'd be off work for 10 weeks. Also he said my tendon was on the wrong side of my ankle bone. People tell me to get a 2nd opinion and i think that's what i will do. Otherwise he is a very friendly doctor and try's to help you with shots therapy and finally surgery after 6 months.

Dr. Opensky is very knowledgeable about the foot and made me feel very welcome. I would recommend Dr. Opensky to anyone who is looking for a great foot doctor. Dr. Opensky also recommended some great solutions to keep my foot feeling great and my foot feels great!
