I’m young and most people tell me that I don’t “look sick”. After a year and a half of sketchy blood work, dizzy spells, brain fog and confusion, hot flashes, rapid weight loss and shortness of breath, I finally was diagnosed with Atherosclerosis after an ER visit. I was SO excited to finally know the name of what was causing so much difficulty and havoc in my life. I was finally at easy to have a doctor help me battle my illness and was extra grateful to have some help dealing with it. My excitement and eagerness was shattered after meeting with this guy! From the time he stepped into the room (never making eye contact) he asked if I was still experiencing “chest pain” (which I’ve never experienced), I knew I was in trouble. I explained that I had tightness and some other symptoms. After never looking me in the eyes, he continued to do whatever work he was finishing up on his laptop (who knows WHAT or WHO he was working on but it wasn’t ME). He was dismissive when speaking to him. All the sudden he says, “follow me”. I’m thinking he’s probably taking me to an exam room to listen to my heart or check my blood pressure (which was never done) so I’m happy to follow him. NOPE! That wasn’t were he took me! He walked me to the door and handed me a little piece of blue paper. I said “what’s this”? He says “it’s medicine that will help you”. I said “with WHAT”?????????????? He says, “with your high blood pressure” and I say, “I have LOW blood pressure”!!!! After giving me this deadly medicine he says…”did you do a stress test?” At that moment, he may have well taken my heart from my chest, strapped on a pair of stilettoes and stomped on it like tenderizing a piece of meat! I was heartbroken (literally)! I’ve felt so bad for so long and have prayed for help and relief, only to fall in the hands of this pathetic doctor. This man never even took the time to LOOK at MY TEST RESULTS AND MY CHART???? It’s so irresponsible and incompetent! Thank God I’m smart enough to know that the medication he gave me for my “high blood pressure” could have killed me if I would have taken it due to me suffering from LOW blood pressure! Not too much was talked about in the exam room we were first in but once we got out to the reception area, he was then ready to speak to me about my condition in front of EVERYONE! (and by my condition, what I mean is the make-believe stuff that was going on in his head since HE NEVER LOOKED AT ANY OF MY INFO!!! I actually stood there in front of everyone and cried!!!! Since this appointment, I’ve had FOUR other medical professionals tell me I suffer from low blood pressure and to NEVER take that medication! I needed answers so later that day I went back to speak with his staff. The girl at the desk offered to ask the NP to go over the results with me. I was so thankful and appreciative! She led me back to an exam room and told me Kathy would be right in to sit with me and go through the test results. I’m thinking “finally, this is the way this visit was supposed to go.” I sat back in that room for an HOUR AND ½ (no exaggeration) After Kathy totally forgot about me, the staff was like, OMG, she hasn’t come back there to speak with you????? I did see Kathy on my way out and she acted as if “I” was the issue. In the most condescending manner she could muster up she said, “Vedere spent plenty of time explaining your results” (as if she didn’t screw up and leave a patient in a room for an hour and 1/2…then gives me a contentious attitude!!!!!). Well guess what Kathy, he did nothing of the kind!!!. Kathy was lashing out on me because she embarrassed HERSELF in front of her coworkers. She neglected a patient and felt giving me a tongue lashing would make her look powerful and important after appearing incompetent and neglectful and this bruised her ego. But I do sort of get it, Kathy punches a timeclock and Vedere pays her so A+ for you attempting to defend your boss but know this…Dr. Vedere and Kathy (his NP), you chose a career that normally focuses on helping people with serious health issues. If you’re disgusted by what you do for a living you should probably do us all a favor and find another line of work. Your attitude, lack of medical knowledge and callus mannerism is not something any sick person wishes to experience. I’m too sick to fight but determined to live. I’m confident that will never happen if I allow this guy and his sidekick to care for me. No thank you!

Went if for consult after ER visit. Only get to see Physicians Assistant and each time schedules another test after not negative results found. Doctor's company owns testing facilities, so no checks and balances. Never see Doctor until he wants to schedule a catheterization even after nothing else is found. Staff loses appointments, can't get answers. Called to ask about travel, but staff never asked Doctor as they said they would.

I went to this doctor a number of years ago, I had a stress test which I was told by the attending nurse was negative, I received a call from Dr Vedere several days later, he told me that I might have a blockage and might need bypass surgery. Needles to say I was distraught. He told me he would perform a heart cath but not until he came back from a two week vacation. What doctor would tell you that you have a potential blocked artery and then tell you that you have to wait two weeks to perform a major diagnostic test? After I did the test it came back negative! I didn't think too much about it until I spoke with a person who had a very similar experience, he had the good sense to have his stress test results evaluated by another doctor who told him it was negative and that he did not need a heart cath. Seems like this doctor performs unnecessary procedures to line his pockets! Buyers beware!!!!

He saved my life twice so far, I would highly recommend Dr. Vedere to anyone, especially, my friends and family. After being a patient of his for five years, my life and health have greatly improved. Sometimes you have to wait to see him but that is only due to emergency situations that arise. He is worth waiting for! When I had an emergency he came right away to attend to me. A++ doctor. His Staff is also a great asset to his office, very helpful and pleasant.

I have been a patient of Dr. Vedere's for over 13 years. I am very pleased with his services. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and sincere. While he may be late sometimes, I find that is because he is treating the most serious matters, first. When I was the sickest, I was one of the first to be treated. He has even called me at home to when he felt I need testing or treatment earlier than a staff member schedule me. I feel he save my life more that once. I would like to note several of his staff members have been with him as long or longer that I have been a patient. In my opinion that attested to his abilities and concern for people. I recommend him highly.

I met him in the hospital. He came in the room, said he was giving me a prescription for angina and was going to discharge me without further testing. I had to ask him what angina was and he said, chest pain. He was in a hurry and didn't even look at me when he was talking. I spent all day in the hospital for nothing. He told me to call his office for an appointment for further testing. I left and have made an appointment with another Cardiologist that my friend (who is a nurse) recommended. I would not recommend this doctor to others. The Nurse as well as my Primary Doctor was shocked that he did not order tests while I was in the hospital.

He is a very compassionate and caring Physician. He is at times late for an appointment, but this is due to the demand for his services when there ia an emergency.
