I have gone to this doctor a few times, but won't be going again. The one you wait is not worth it. I am in the examining room and have been here for two and a half hours. Still no sign of him, and it was like this the last time I came here. Save your time and go to another doctor!

Dr. P is very friendly, likeable, and for all I know knowledgeable. However, I will never return. I had two appointments, the first, for a routine physical I waited 3+ hours. The second just to review my test results I waited 2 hours. 2 hours so he could come in say hi how's it going, everything looks fine. 2 hours of waiting for 5 minutes of face time.

Dr. is very nice and knowledgeable however expect to wait at least 2 hour to be seen no matter when your appoitment is. I have even had them take walk in patients (not in a medical crisis) prior to those who have been waiting over 1 hour for their own scheduled appointment

Be prepared to wait a very long time, even with a scheduled appointment. Is Dr. Persaud nice? Yes. Does Dr. Persaud seem knowledgeable? Yes. I have waited for over an hour at my last three appointments. If your time is valuable to you, you may want to look elsewhere. If you can stand to wait, the care seems pretty good(minus the personal call and texting that the Dr. did during my last appointment).

Dr. Persaud is caring and extremely knowledgable. He talks to his patients and as a result, he sometimes runs behind. He is definitely worth the wait.

Dr Persaud is a wonderful doctor..we have been going to him for over 7 yrs now. My ONLY complaint is office manager..lazy,rude,not helpful AT ALL..she is always on a personal phone call, doesnt respond to calls for test reults and generally blows you off..I agree with above comment about insurance billing..when we changed insurance companies after 7 yrs we continueto recieve bills from old company.. I do blame this on the office manager. I do not mind waiting to see Doc because he truly cares about you as an individual. He will work with you if you have no insurance. He truly is a good doctor, which is hard to find.I recommend him as a doctor, just be prepared for a long wait and a crabby office manager.

Dr. Persaud is the greatest doctor I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He is very attentive and helpful. My husband and I were referred to him by a nurse in the hospital when our Son was born. We loved how great he was with our son that we started going to him ourselves. I have never felt so at ease with a doctor. He informs me of everything that is going and and answers all my questions in ways that I can understand. He honestly cares about every single one of his patients. The wait is no longer than any other pediatricians office I have been in although a bit longer than the adult doctors but it is well worth the wait. If I had any questions regarding anything I could contact him at anytime and he would get back to me in a very timely manner. He is the most amazing man and doctor and I will continue to see him and recommend him to everyone I know.

I'm VERY critical of doctors. I prefer to be responsible for the health care of my family and make the decisions. I tend to rely on the doctors for information, recommendations & diagnosis. Then I prefer to either take or leave their recommendations based on how well they convince me I would actually need drugs for myself or children. Most doc's find this annoying, Dr. Persaud is careful to hear my concerns and is never offended if I opt out of one of his suggested drugs. Also, if I ask for a specific test, he'll do it, even if he thinks it will come back negative. He LISTENS to me, and doesn't just talk AT me. I appreciate him very much. Although his staff has not been very friendly with me, they haven't done anything that has offended me either. So not much of an opinion there. I do wait in the waiting room which is hard as I often have 2 toddlers with me, but it is worth it for his conversation & knowledge.

Dr. P has been our family doctor since the mid-90s through many ups and downs including long-term health challenges or injuries he's stitched up. He's up-to-date, empathetic and "connected" to the Beaumont way of doing things. His suggestions of specialists or physical therapy clinics has been excellent. His office staff is very frustrating and at times downright unfriendly, yet you can still walk in and see the doctor any day. Recently they were not able to navigate a HAP pre-authorization, and it had to be done by another office. That was bad. We have had numerous issues with his out-of-state billing company, mostly related to their amnesia about our insurance. They've billed insurance we haven't had for over five years. Turnover among nurses is high, but we've not had a bad one. Why put up with that? Because the quality of health care is still very high. If you think office comfort is part of the equation, you'll be disappointed. If you're looking for one-on-one, you'll like him.

My family followed Dr. P from a Royal Oak clinic and for a good reason! He (unlike many other doctors we've been to) takes the time to truly listen to your needs. Although he is never running on time - he will always take the time needed with each and every patient. His staff, on the other hand, could be upgraded to a more professional, polite and more cheerful group of people. I have referred many people to him over the years and will keep referring to him.
