I had my total left knee replacement on August 21st 2019 at the ripe young age of 67. Dr Berkman and his staff were with me every step of the way. From my first office visit with Dr Berkman prior to my surgery, to my recent 4 month post operation office visitation Dr Berkman and his staff took the time to make sure my experience during this difficult chapter in my life was as positive and as comfortable as it could possibly be. I would highly recommend Dr Berkman to do your surgery if you are considering any kind of Orthopedic procedure. Lastly, GREAT work, my knee has not felt this good in a long time, I have a new lease on life.

Dr. Berkman was able to diagnose my knee problem in minutes and suggested the proper course of action. After MRI was completed he suggested surgery for torn Meniscus. The surgery experience was great. Everyone associated withe Dr Berkman treated myself and my wife with kindness. After surgery they sent me home with all the proper instructions. Ten days later my knee is feeling 100% better. I would highly recommend Dr Berkman for any procedures.

Dr. Berkman is not only a great doctor, but also a great teacher. As a medical student, I was able to see first-hand the real world applications of what I was learning at school applied at the clinic and the operating room. He taught me a lot about medicine and showed me the qualities that constitute the makeup of a good doctor.

Excellent doctor! Fixed my torn rotator cuff and removed a large calcium buildup. My pain was excruciating and he had me fixed up within 5 days from my first visit. Very kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Berkman and his staff are amazing!! A friend recommended him and I am grateful she did. After my first office visit I knew he was the best choice to help me care for my worn-out knees. He and his staff made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions and laid out my options both surgical and nonsurgical. He addressed all my issues and concerns with professionalism and respect. A year and a half later I had a total right and left knee replacement 4/19/2017 that went extremely well. I must say I was surprised after all the horror stories I read on some blogs. I decided to go into this journey with a positive attitude and to make my experience the best for me as I know everyone heals different. On 8/02/2017 three months after my first TKR I had a total left knee replacement (that’s right I did it again 😊). Because of Dr. Berkman and his staff excellent patient care, knowledge and professionalism and my positive outlook and hard work I feel wonderful. This journey was not smooth as silk but it is what you make of it…my glass is always half full. I highly recommend Dr. Berkman to anyone seeking to improve their quality of life if a TKR is in your future.

Dr. Berkman has repaired the rotor cuffs in both of my shoulders. He did the first one 13 years ago and I knew who I wanted to treat my other shoulder when I started having problems with it a few months ago. He takes time to explain what's going on and the recommended treatment and follow-up. He will be my first choice if I ever have a need for an orthopedic surgeon again. I highly recommend this outstanding professional!
