This man treated me in the EMH hospital when I had blood clots. When they gave me Coumadin, and Heparin I all the sudden lost my hearing in my ear, and got extremely dizzy. He didn't order any tests or anything when this happened. My son called the hospital, and told them that an MRI needs to be ran, and this could be a stroke. Mind you that I didn't know if I was going to live at this time. Dr Potaczak comes in my room, and hits my leg that had the clots, and says "Is your son your doctor?" I said "No" seeing as that I wasn't aware of anything besides the world spinning, and having no hearing. He said "He will be your doctor." He cancelled the ear doctor I had to look at my ear, and he sent me home without further tests. I went to Cleveland Clinic, and all the doctors there said that he was completely wrong, because those symptoms could have been a stroke, and he should have ran the tests. Now I have traveling clots, and permanent deafness in one ear thanks to Potaczak. BE WARNED!
