Dr. Rao was very caring and seemed to be very knowledgeable during my visit with him. I will continue to recommend him to my friends as I feel he is the best pulmonologist in the area.

Some of Dr. Rao's staff is very courteous and helpful. Some, however, seem like they are just there to collect a paycheck and go home. They have no "bedside manner" to speak of, and for that matter, no personality! As for the doctor himself, after a 2-3 hour wait to be seen PAST the appointment time, he spends about 5-10 minutes with you and that's it. He writes prescriptions and sends you out the door. If only there was another pulmonologist in this area!!

Dr. Rao and his office staff are very courteous and professional. Dr. Rao seems very knowlegeable and competent. Would recommend him to everyone.

Does not listen to patients. Did not review my chart prior to entering room and continued to ask the same questions over and over. Diagnosed me with a physical problem during testing but then tried to tell me that my only problem was anxiety. Did not answer patient questions.
