I have been with Dr Lewis for about 1o years or so. He is a very nice dr and actually listens to what you have to say. However, He is so busy you will not see him too often. Even when you schedule with him, you will more than likely see the PA. His nurse Emily, does not return calls when you leave a message on the nurse line. I have been trying to get a prescription for glucose monitoring sensors since 04/21/22. It is now 05/11/22 and its still not done and I cannot get anyone to return my calls. It has always been like this. I have stayed because I really like Dr Lewis but I think its time to move to a dr that have a more professional staff. After all, I dont pay the high insurance premium I do for the fun of it. Oh, and the wait times are ridiculous. Its alwlays a 2 - 3 hour event for a 6 - 10 min visit.

If you ever get to see the Dr vs a PA, you might like him. However, some of the staff are anything but friendly. To be fair, some are very helpful and kind, but others not so much. So, just depends on who you deal with that day. Overall, might want to look elsewhere for a pcp.

Staff reception helpful. Most nurses and other staff hold entitlement issues above their head when asked why the wait has been over an hour and for general help. After seeing other post I must concur that 1. These ratings are not being read
2. If they are then the entitlement issues I posted are proof that it doesn't need changed because you are entitled to play doctor.
3. Nothing's changed to get better. It's quantity over quality.
4. Doctor is here an hour and a forty five minutes after being placed in room.
5. Surprise!!! It's not Dr. Lewis.
6. See you. Do not need to wait if I am going to see a PA. I can go somewhere else
7. Stop coming here as to give established patients better care. Over booked for $$$

Dr Lewis is friendly, knowledgable and does not rush you out the door. He is by far the best doctor I have ever had.

I love Jenks Family Physicians because they treat you like family. Dr. Lewis does his job so well because he enjoys caring for his patients. The staff deserves credit too, as I am afraid of blood draws and I seriously did not feel anything at all. I could not believe how well the tech took 3 vials, and if I hadn't seen it I would have known nothing. This is an absolute first, and sets the bar for me, a notch higher.

I've been a "patient" of Dr. Lewis for about eight years. I really liked Dr. Lewis, but haven't been able to see the man in over three years. Every time I make an appointment, I get a PA regardless, even if I ask for Dr. Lewis during scheduling. The staff and nurses are polite, but often times I spend more time in the waiting room than I do in the exam room. PA's are good, but don't diagnose like a doctor would. The referral coordinator and nurses don't return phone calls like they say they will. I get the feeling they have too many patients. This doctor is taking quantity over quality, and because of that I'm looking for a new primary.

First I want to say that I love Dr. Lewis as a doctor, when I can see him. He has surrounded himself with Practitioners and it is impossible to see Dr. Lewis. The staff has been rude to me in the past and billing has said we owed money when we didn't. But the biggest reason I am leaving Dr. Lewis is the fact that they decreased one of my medication WITHOUT discussing it with me. I found out when the Pharmacy called the doctors office to verify the amount of pills and was told that the amount (half of my usual for over 6 years now) was correct. When I called, I was sent to the nurse and all she could tell me was that it had been decreased...not WHY. This demonstrates the fact that the Practitioners are just practicing...they are not real doctors.
