This Dr. is perfect if you want to have confidential service! If you are going through withdrawal of opiates and need to feel better quick, he is the dr. to see! He is VERY helpful and talks to you about your addiction and/or dependence. Dr. Andru has a smart tapering guideline he follows through with you and talks to you about how to accomplish feeling better without relapse! Without him, I would still be using. The downside, is that if you are a new patient its hard to get in. The good news is that once your in, you get to be seen once a month until you are better! Only $30.00 a visit, unlike the other clinics I tried, everyone else wanted at least $400 or more for the first visit! The staff is not very friendly, but Dr. Andru is amazing! If you decide to make an appointment, be prepared to be there at LEAST 4 hours! But its worth the wait.

Friendly but not knowledgeable and not thorough. For example, despite him being a Suboxone doctor who treats opiate addicts, he was baffled by the claim that opiates (and the Suboxone he prescribes) relieve depression. While generally helpful and cheery, he ignores patient statements such as "have open sore" which was told to nurse taking vitals and also charted (as the explanation for elevated temperature), and he expressed no interest in seeing that sore despite it being charted. His entire office is bilingual: Spanish/English and it's like being in Mexico with no appointments, and first come, first served, so best way to get seen quickly is to go there before closing because most patients come earlier, and there can be 10 people waiting when the office opens. He is very generous with Suboxone scrips, and asks no questions about illicit drug use), so if you want Suboxone without drug testing or other hassles, he's probably the best source in the entire state, giving 45-60 tabs/month.
