KNOWLEDGE POOR: Misclassified my condition so that Medicare would not pay. Stated that I was in hospital for "All Observation" even though I had angina and a stent for blocked artery. Now his staff says he can't change it and blames Medicare. We were told insurance would pay, but now staff says he doesn't remember telling us that. SURGERY NIGHTMARE: Left old nitro patch on and put another on before surgery so blood pressure was so low he said he couldn't give proper anesthesia– I felt entire Cardiac Catherization procedure, from cut to placement of stent in heart; still have nightmares about it. Second opinion from doctor in DesMoines said this wasn't true and shouldn't have happened. POOR INFORMATION: Was also told cardiac rehab would be covered. It wasn't. Now have huge medical bills!
