I went to Dr. Morrissey a little hesitant, since he is a male physician. I had a lot of questions and concerns, he addressed every single one. He made me feel comfortable, spent time with me like I was his only patient. He is very gentle, not forceful. He explained everything in such detail and was very supportive of the health changes I had already been making, and sweetly encouraged me to make more. He was the most amazing, caring doctor I have ever been to!

I met this doctor while my doctor was on maternity leave. At first I thought he would be fine but then he started to change. He seemed disconnected, hostile and critical. He didn't display any interest in women's health issues. He stopped answering any questions and didn't make any referrals for my health problems. When I had a miscarriage I had thought it was due to the health problems I was having, yet receiving no medical help from Aurora, he simply told me some story about Brett Favre, and to deal with it, which made no sense to me. I would switch hospitals, away from the incompetence of Aurora, get the correct tests and referrals, and my health would be restored, no thanks to Dr. Morrissey, who treated me like a burden and a "complaining girl" which was just so demeaning. Medical records, which the patient has the right to, will also be withheld to cover his mistakes. A doc. at a dif. hospital said how strange that he wouldn't release those. Very unprofessional. Harmful doctor.

I'm so happy Dr. Morrissey is my doctor. You won't find anyone more intelligent, more caring or more surgically skilled. He and his staff take the time and provide a comfortable environment and a great patient experience. Dr. Morrissey is awesome!
