Terrible Doctor, very rude. Constantly speaking over you or cutting you off. No bedside manner and no compassion. Patient's overall well-being not the focus. Very disappointed.

I can see why everyone is complaining b/c he gives and teaches "tough love"! If you expect to be mothered or fathered by him, good luck wrong doctor to work your recovery on! He is tough which is what I like. This shows me for room to work on myself. The medicine that he prescribes is to mother or father your illness. Advice from him or insight is investment conditioning that you work on like the meds that he gave you on your own time and own discrepancy. I am not going to give all of Dr. T's secrets but ......I had a lot of other psychiatrists who you just described. I feel he is not like them. I am getting better because I do the work not depend on him. He helps which is what he and MSH suppose to do! I have been seeing him for over off and on for 15 years. With such hard psychiatric diagnosis, you can't expect to be "cured". You have to do the work too! That is what I learned from Dr. Ticoll! Thanks! Plus. If he sees that you have a hint of belief in yourself, you are on your way!!!

Stay away!!, sadly he was my first attempt of getting help and he made me feel worse after talk to him. I didn't get anywhere with this guy. On top of that he blame me that I did show up in person when I was not told. I even took the day off work to talk to him. ( copy from my Google review)

You don't want to have to see a psychiatrist especially if your wife tells you that you need to. But if you, don't you want to see someone who listens, cares and treats you kindly and thoughtfully. This is how I sum up my experience with Dr. Ticoll. He combined tactful exploration of my issues and attitudes with encouragement for me to change the way I see m world. He prescribed medication that helped but did not focus on this as the way forward for me. He involved my family in the process of my treatment. I think this is the ideal way for a psychiatrist to work. I am very grateful.

He is such a good support. I have had longstanding issues in my family life. He is available when I need him. He listens and doesn't pass judgement or offer bromides. He provides medications but limits this to the necessary.

I was admitted to the mental health ward because I tried to hurt myself. Dr. Ticoll saw me immediately. He and the other team members indicated that I had substance use and personality problems. They dealt with this well and I felt reassured and supported. I am trying to better understand why I do what I do. I am more secure and not thinking about self harm.

I had a very good experience from my first contact with his office staff to my visit with him and then going over his consult report with my family doctor. Based on his report my family doctor revised my treatment. Dr. Ticoll also referred me for psychotherapy. I am pleased with the result.

A great doctor. Took care of me for depression. I was completely another person. I ended up back to myself. Doctor gave me the time I needed and only the pills that worked. He listend to me and my wife. He answered my phone calls

I was on the psych ward last week with Dr. Ticoll. He helped me. He was available. I can tell he cared. He is a nice doctor.
