Had me convinced she cared and was competent.. Thousands of wasted dollars and had to get a different dentist to start actually caring for my teeth. Don't get sucked in!

would NOT GIVE ANY STARS IF I DIDN'T HAVE TO..

Do Not Walk in this office! I went in for slight pain in my tooth and ended up with CELLULITIS OF MY FACE. So far the cost between TLC charges and E.R visit is $7000.00. I requested a call back from the dentist and possible refund and I never got a call back! They also told me the dentist who did my surgery was no longer there one week after seeing me and sending me home with cellulitis. PLEASE Read all the reviews and BBB. I am starting all over again with the same issue, now a specialist! Just came back from a new dentist

Anna Smith did a root canal on one molar and replaced a crown on the adjacent molar at the same time. I have no complaint about the procedure as I was sufficiently numb and I thought the outcome was goid until this past month. Dr. Smith merged her practice with another dental office and I recently saw a new dentist. He said the back half of one if the crowns was broken off. This weekend while I was flossing my teeth the adjacent tooth that had the root canal broke off at the gum line. I am not an aggressive flosser!! So both of those crowns have failed in only two years.

Anna Smith started a root canal procedure on me and left in the middle of it. I heard her tell the assistant she could go to lunch and I was left unattended on nitrous the entire time. She came back and did not check to see if I was still numb before she started drilling. If it weren’t for the nitrous I would have come up out of the chair. She then scolded me and said I can’t be jerking because it will break a tool off in my root. She gave me a shot and said it takes affect right away and started drilling again without letting anytime pass. My anxiety was really bad at this point and I was clinching my fist. She asked me what was wrong and I was trying to talk but couldn’t with the equipment in my mouth and my tongue being numb. I was still able ti feel her working. She stopped the procedure saying I was being uncooperative. I told her she needed to finish and she refused. She snarkishly said that I was going to be in a lot of pain and gave me five more shots in my mouth. Where were those shots before she started working on me the second time. I think the only reason she did was so I couldn’t talk on my way out of the office! Everyone who has had an experience like this needs to file a complaint. idfpr.Illinois.gov

I wish I would of reviewed these comments before going in! Same experience as others although she really dropped the ball in not informing me of the terrible and life threatening results of my sleep study. After having to wait several months because of the virus, I went in to get my appliance fitted. I ask to review my sleep study and she said I was 10 times more at risk of having a stroke. And she just now let me know and it would take two months before I would see optimal results of the appliance. Thankfully I had it sent to my internist who put me on a cpap immediately and have good results. Very frightening experience and no sense of compassion.

I went to Dr Smith for 5 years, over that time i had an implant, crown, and fillings. EACH have had problems, Today, after visiting another dentist in the area, he kept saying this is the worst dental work he has ever seen! too bad i can’t get my 8,000 back! Shame on you, DR smith!

She tried to take a perfectly good crown off, told me it needed to be replaced every 5 years. I went in for different tooth that was broken and I was in so much pain. She really just ignored me about it. Would not give me any prices. She yelled at me for asking if I was covered on everything and how much it was going to cost literally yelled at me. She told me it was my responsibility find out whether I was covered or not as she was trying to take the crown off my tooth. I got up and walked out. I’m sorry she’s going through a rough time in my personal life but it was no reason to take it out on me.
And because nobody would answer my questions I will give them my low rating because nobody seem to be able to answer anything I ask.

Very pushy about selling their services. First visit for Invisalign, I was convinced I needed an emergency root canal (four, actually). I was overcharged $500.00 for one, so please be careful. I won't be returning. Also, tooth chipped after a simple cleaning.

Horrible place to go, dentist is only concerned with selling her oral appliance. Not nice during procedures either.
