Do NOT go to him unless you want to be degraded. Awful bedside mannor! Instead of helping me through a difficult problem, he had the audacity to incinuate that I was promiscuous. He should keep his opinions to himself. My personal life had NOTHING to do with my medical condition. I was just a young girl when I saw him and unable to stand up for myself. If I had known then what I know now, I would have politely told him where to shove his opinions and filed a grievance. He has a God complex. Who is he to judge? He made a difficult situation even worse. I didn't want empathy from him. I did need unbiased treatment, which I never got because I walked out of the door and never looked back!

That is unfortunate that you had a bad experience because he is one of the very best doctors in Lubbock. I consider him to be very cautious and conservative in his practice of obstetrics and gynecology. He has taken very good care of me and has always been honest about options...never pushy or opiniated. Voicing concerns to your physician directly would be much more useful than using websites like this for negativity!

I recently left this practice due to horrible service. The office staff, including nurses, were very rude and inconsiderate of my time. The doctor is also very opinionated and feels his opinions are more accurate than the high-risk doctor. Dr. Lampkin's bedside manner is also lacking. I have heard several doctors-ENT, pediatrician, and another OB-comment that this doctor is suffering from burnout and needs a break. I would definately seek another OB/GYN before considering Dr. Lampkin.

Dr. Lampkin is very friendly, knowledgeable and caring. He takes time to listen and answer all questions, also addresses any concerns. I would definately recommend.
