Speaking as an extremely anxiety ridden patient, I can tell you that Dr. Somera is patient, professional and very kind. He will walk you through the process and explain everything. Office staff goes above and beyond. Excellent service all around.

I went for a consultation with Dr, Somera last week as I have to have an extraction then an implant done…I am very nervous going to any dentist…but Dr, Somera explained everything to me in layman’s terms so I was able to understand each step of the procedure that has to be done….I had the extraction done today….first time ever…did not feel a thing when he gave me the needles for the freezing and then when he told me the tooth was out I was absolutely shocked as I did not feel a thing…his staff was extremely professional and also helped calm me…I have no hesitation in going forward with this work…and recommending him as a very kind and patient dentist

According to my personal experience, Dr Somera has dramatically changed over the years. When he became my dentist about 20 years ago, he was a truly excellent dentist in every way: he could not have been better, and I was quite simply enchanted to have found such a kind, devoted and competent dentist. One of the thins I loved most was that kindly and patiently took the time to talk to me, to explain everything, and to answer my questions. Unfortunately, all these years later things have now deteriorated to the extent that I would never go near him as a dentist again. Indeed the last couple of times I saw Dr Somera, it was quite simply dreadful: he was reluctant to show me my cavities on the radios (and did not do so), he did not do what I asked him to do (without giving me any explanations), and chose to do other things without asking my permission, he worked so abnormally FAST that it felt terrifyingly dangerous, and one front filling he did was really not at all the same color as my tooth. He said the color would change and be OK with time (which of course it never did), and then said he would correct that on my next visit (which he never did). In short, I quite simply felt like a robot that he felt impatient to patch up A.S.A.P., in order to cash in the money for his growing business: contrarily to the wonderful dentist he first was, he did not seem at all interested in me as a patient: I felt like a cash machine. And worse, he did not even seem as competent as he used to be.

Solid surgeon/dentist ! He performed a bone graft, and implant. The surgery went really well! Very helpful and Dr. Somera kindly answer’s any question’s you have!

Dr Somera is a fantastic dentist. Listens carefully and explains in detail. I have never felt any pain. The staff make sure all is okay before leaving. Wonderful environment.

I went to see him for dental work, and wisdom extraction and it was extremely painful.
The work had to be redone. As for my wisdoms it took a while to heal.

An excellent doctor to recommend to everybody! I did a dental implant with him and many tooth crowns, everything worked perfectly. The best dentist forever!
