My primary care physician 30 years. I was diagnosed with a chronic disease-1st patient in that practice with the diagnosis. Dr. Dardick was amazing in researching the disease and he supports me in every way possible. His nurse pratitioner is fantastic-Maura Baker. wonderful. unfortunately, Dr. Dardick is not accepting new patients; a popular doctor indeed.

Dr. Dardick has been my primary physician since he opened his practice 30 years ago. He always treats me as a partner in diagnosis and treatment. He tells me what my symptoms could indicate, what the possible diagnoses are, and what the possible treatments are (including doing nothing) and the probable risks and outcomes of each option. He is very knowledgeable about internal medicine and excellent referral sources. He takes my complaints seriously. He keeps me current on preventive measures, like tetanus and flu shots, colonoscopies, the shingles vaccine, and the pneumonia vaccine. I particularly appreciate his expertise on Lyme Disease. He has always shown genuine interest in my welfare and my daughter's welfare. When my adult daughter moved to Los Angeles and complained she couldn't find a doctor who listened to her like Dr. Dardick always did, Dr. Dardick referred her to his brother -- Dr. Dardick -- in L.A., who turned out to be a doctor who listens to his patients, too.

I worked with Ken Dardick for 3 years and although my tenure there was not a happy one due to other pressures within the office, I found him to be the most knowledgeable, caring and conciencious physician I have ever worked with. Being located near a major university, and a struggling old mill town, we treated patients from vastly diverse cultural and socioeconomic situations. Although consevative in his approach to family medicine, Ken always has had up-to-the-minute knowledge regarding the latest findings and treatments for whatever ailment patients presented with. Whatever their age or background each patient is treated with kindness, patience and respect. As a subordinate, I often asked him what specific tests were for, or to see whatever he found so interesting beneath the microscope. He was always glad to teach and instruct. I continue to recommend his practice to newcomers to the community.

Though Dr. Dardick might be called "conservative" in his approach to interventions, he is well-informed and always ready to recommend further consultation. He is extremely conscientious and attentive to his patients' concerns. He is less concerned with lifestyle, weight, and diet than some might prefer.

My primary care physician for some 20 years. Always cheerful, very knowledgable, unusual specialty--tropical diseases. Shares personal health choices to aid patient in making decisions (e.g. sphygnoscopy vs colonoscopy). Former director of Windham Memorial Community Hospital. Disinterested in non-traditional treatments (e.g. homeopathic medicines). Uses latest computer technology to streamline paperwork.
