If I could go back in time, I would sue Wayne Herdy for his treatment of my mother. She lost a lot of blood during an operation and became dizzy and confused. Dr Herdy put her on Risperidone which has been banned in America and the company who makes it sued for millions. Doctors were being given kickbacks for prescribing it. He said she had Alzheimer's. I discovered later that she had pernicious anaemia, therefore a lack of vitamin B12, and that lack causes the confusion. My mother got worse, and then he told me she probably had stomach cancer even though she had no problems with her stomach, I was at university at the time and left to care for her for the 'weeks or few months' she had left to live. Eventually I discovered she didn't have stomach cancer either. Twenty years later I was still her fulltime carer. He ruined her life and he ruined my life. I will never forgive him.

Dr Herdy is literally the only G.P on the coast who takes on patients on for the Suboxone programme. I finally plucked up the courage to see him and luckily I did as he said his books were full. He is extremely thorough, knowledgable and non-judgmental. What I like the most is he lets me dictate my treatment (within reason). I had some teething issues and he was on the phone to me ASAP despite being extremely busy. The negatives are 1. to see him I have to wait sometimes hours each month as a "walk in" patient. 2. His receptionists can be really horrible. He has multiple reviews on google stating the same thing. There's absolutely no excuse for it, and if they were my staff they would be out of a job. I understand they probably deal with some difficult people but I have been nothing but pleasant and I've still been spoken to terribly. Its so bad that I get really anxious when I have to call up the surgery.

Just like to say Dr Herdy has been a great person and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I have been going to him for some time and never wanted a more honest relationship with my children and myself, whether you're homeless or not still getting same relationship.

Good doctor but staff don’t give you any appointment I was waiting 1 and half month to see my test report but everything morning you call they will say sorry try tomorrow morning. Tired of waiting

Dr Herdy never fails to help me or my family. He takes a holistic approach and ensures that every angle of a situation is taken care of. My wife was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes a few years ago and with the help of Dr Herdy putting her on exercise and correct diet plan she now does not even have to take medication anymore. A fantastic doctor.

Dr Herdy's is very misguided and dangerous...don't let him "treat" a family member with an addiction.Will prescribe copious amounts of benzos etc in role of as I've heard "keeping the patient comfortable. Has certainly lost his direction.

Exceptional and caring doctor it was a pleasure being looked after by him. I went to see him about my high blood pressure and not only did he treat me medically but also put me on a proper exercise and diet regime. Now I don't even have to take medication for my high blood pressure.
