Ratings for Dr. Patricia Achiume
Of all the psychiatrists I've be treated by, she is the best and the only one that takes the time to listen to her patients. She doesn't simply address medications and side-effect. Trust me, there a lot worst out there!

I was a community patient of Dr. Patricia Achiume back in 2000. I only met her once for a medical examination. She is a qualified medical practitioner with over 30 years experience. I found her to be a very good listener and sensitive to my medical and personal history. The doctor communicates, explains options well. I felt comfortable in her office and understood. She kept a non jugemental attitude and wrote a detailed report as per requested by Human Resources. Now 20 years later, I can say that I was properly diagnosed by this doctor with my ptsd and I feel blessed that I met her during a time of need where I felt defeated.

Dr. Achiume has been my psychiatrist for the past 9 years . She has really changed my life , being the first doctor to not simply shove pills at me without looking for the really problem . Dr. Achiume is a kind , caring person who does her job extremely well . She is decimated to health and well being of her patients . You never feel rushed when you are in a session with her , unlike some other physicians . I have nothing bad to say about her . She has truly become a very important key to keeping me mentally stable . Without her I would not be able to live on my own like I am .

This doctor falls under the catagorie of pathetic. Her Wait time is the average of over two hours. I have never waited less than an hour and a half, in the waiting room. Hanging in a mental patients in a waiting room with sick people adds to depression. I would not recommend this idiot for anyone. This Doctor really puntucality and personality really suck. Two thumbs down. And Shame on her and all her pears. she doesn't even give the right medications for certain disorders Bad News she is.

Dr. Achiume is a caring person who has alot of experience. She is a skilled professional who finds out informaton if she doesn't have it right away. She is busy, but when she is with you, she concentrates on everything you tell her and takes it seriously.

I have never met a more caring person. She is sincere and that means so much. Because of her I now live a fairly normal life.

She thinks she is phychologist or councelor but she isn't. She is good at somethings like finding the right person for the job. But she takes to long to see her clients. That is a quality she could work at. Thank you

Dr. Achiume has bee my saviour over the past 5 years. I have had many medical problems over the past 3 years and I know that I would have have got through it without her support. Other doctor's would tell me that my issues were in my head and I had Dr. Achiume tell me otherwise. She knew me when I was healthy and she knows that something is not right with me physically now. I would probably be off work on disibility if I didn't see her and instead, I work full-time and live a happy, healthy life. Thank you Dr. Achiume.

She's the only psychiatrist that cares more about the client than the medication's side effects. She's extremely busy though

Dr. Achiume saved my mothers life .. My mom was Not only destine to spend her days institutionalized in north bay she had been there for years already we grew up with her in and out of hospitalization my whole life and the horrors that came along with it until Dr.Achiume came along after 18 yrs of missed diagnosis she diagnosed my mother properly she has schysophenia and multiple personality disorder .. We now reside in Alberta but my mom has only ever had to visit the hospital once in over 10 years after the loss of her husband and has a wonderful loving relationship with all 3 of her children and all 10 of her grandchildren whom she now lives her life for .. She says she owes it all to Dr. Achiume " she came on the floor one day I looked up at her and asked if her she help me ,begging from the inside and she did "" from that day forward all of our lives changed not just my mothers ...
