This was the worst doctor and staff experience ever. I called for refill it took a whole week, the doctor gave wrong prescription they never heard of medication. I was told by the staff on two different days that the doctor would take care of it then finally on a Friday the office closed with no refill, the covering doctor had to figure it out and give me a refill. I called after that to speak to doctor regarding my mom as condition getting was worse I was told twice that he would call me back. I'm still waiting for his call. If I didn't live it I would of thought this was not possible. I was so heart broken cause the one who was suppose help her let her down and she dosent understand. most importantly I let her down when I said I would help her. So sad!

I've been a patient of Dr. Knep for 30 years... Dr. Knep diagnosed me when no one else could. I've recommended numerous friends and family through the years because not only is he a wonderful doctor, but he'll recommend a specialist in the correct field if your problem is not neurologic. I look forward to my yearly check-ups and have been feeling fine with his guidance. Dr. Knep's staff is very professional and helpful.

Dr. Knep did not seem qualified to treat chronic pain. He did not really prescibe any treatments. Possibly he's afraid to write prescriptions for pain meds because of DEA pressure.

This is the worst neurological group in NJ. Their staff is nasty and ignorant. If you call before 9am the office picks up and says "we're not open until 9:30" and then hangs up on you. Then the best was when I showed up for an appointment and they were gone. They moved to a new building without telling me! no call or email..nothing. New phone number new address. I had missed a day of work for an appointment I couldn't make because they moved without notifying anyone. Secondly, Knep is nice and is very smart, but he doesn't listen. He picks a theory and goes with it, and neglects important facts. Told me he couldn't do anything for me, before another Neurologist did. Stay away from this unfriendly staff, it will be a waste of your time and money.

I had an appt. for Monday october 6, 2008, I get there and the young lady said "Dr. Knep is not in today"!!!! I said I have a 1:45 appt and she was like "we called you" no they didn't call me and they had my home and work number. I was very upset because I had my sister go out of her way to take me there and I took off from work and I don't drive on high ways so it was important for me to keep this appt. Now if I had missed they would have charged me the co-pay of 40.00! How about I make another appt and it will be free of charge for my valuable time! But we know it doesn't work like that. It's ok for them to charge you because their time is so valuable but how about my/our time what makes it less valuable! I am really upset over this, it took me forever to make the appt. because of lack of time and can't take off from work. And the young lady at the desk her attitute was like "oh well, he is not here" and olderly women walked in to see him too, apprently she also got a called!

I have been treating with Dr. Knep for over 8 years and he has been terrific. He's compassionate, knowledgeable, patient, and a good listener. He's also a partner in my healthcare rather than a dictator. I trust and respect Dr. Knep and highly recommend him to anyone requiring neurological care.
