My dad and I both had an appointment with Dr. Barkey today and I have to say I was highly impressed. Dr. Barkey demonstrated a great deal of knowledge, care and patience throughout both my dad's and my exam. He was very pleasant, personable, while at the same time imparting information to us in such a nice way. There are certain doctors that exude a level of professionalism combined with a humble self-assuredness that just let's you know that you are in good hands and being well-taken care of. Not that other doctors haven't been totally wonderful, but I was moved to send a message to others that I would highly recommend Dr. Barkey if you are considering a dermatologist. Thank you to Dr. Barkey and his staff for your excellence in care.

Dr. Barkey has been my dermatologist for many, many years and I'm very thankful to my primary physician for recommending him. He continues treating my psoriasis, which is why I began seeing him, but he has also treated me for a tick bite, hives and has removed moles. He is a top-notch doctor, no question about it.

When I went to Dr Barkey I was scared cause I had some skin rash that was taking over my legs and spreading. It was vasculitis, but I didn't know it at the time. Dr Barkey, was so thoughtful and took his time so that when I left his office I was no longer scared of what I had. He's one doctor that knows how to talk with his patients and not down at them. He listens which really most doctors have forgotten how to do.

Dr. Barkey is wonderful. He always takes his time with me and I never feel rushed. He is very knowledgable. When I was losing my hair he was the only doctor that helped me. Since that first visit several years ago my female hair loss has been minimal.

He is very good about education of skin lesions. He does not remove lesion unless suspected of CA or for obvious cosmetic probs.
