Dr. Werner operated on my left eye many years ago and I continued to see him over the years until my insurance changed and he couldn't accept it. Dr Werner was always pleasant, polite, understanding a wonderful demeanor and manner about him. I have not been able to duplicate this kind man in another doctor.

Dr. Werner is, in short, wonderful. He's gentle and patient, and great at understanding his patients -- well, me anyway. ;) It will be a loss when he retires, but he seems happy to practice. I won't go back if his new partner is there, but that's another, completely different, subject. I can think only that Dr. Werner is too accepting, to not see the inadequacy of "the other guy."
