Unbelievably bad treatment. She repeatedly messed up what should have been a routine procedure that she was never able to complete, causing me extreme pain (which she showed zero concern for), and didn't even tell me that she would be bringing another person into the room. She is the single worst doctor of any specialty I have interacted with; avoid her at all costs.

Dr. Patel has been a tremendous blessing to me over the many years I've seen her. She helped me through many female issues and continues to help me.

This doctor is inexcusably rude to patients. I have seen her on at least 3-4 separate occasions (including in the delivery room), and she makes me feel bad each and every time. If you ask her a question, she'll respond with something unnecessarily rude like "well, if you wait and listen to the instructions I'm about to give you, you'd understand." A normal doctor would just answer your question courteously. What a b****. Avoid her. It's obvious she doesn't care about her patients.

This person should choose a different career path! Very rude. Did all of the talking and none of the listening. No concern for patient , very unprofessional.

Super nice! I can honestly state that Dr. Patel made sure my concerns were heard and my tests were completed thoroughly. When Dr. Patel was not available due to booking there were other doctors to help with my issues/questions. I am happy of my choice and will recommend Dr. Patel. As far as the staff goes, the front greeting staff can work on their acknowledgment of patients standing to check in or check out, but as you are called back the staff are excellent. I actually travel an hour each way and it is worth the confidence that I have when I leave. A+ for Dr Patel and nursing staff. B- for front check in/check out staff.

Dr. Patel is rude and dId nothing to help me . She was very condescending in consultation and judgmental . My issues were passed off as other problems and I received no help from her.

I had terrible experience with Dr. Patel. She is not only rude but overconfident women. She paid less attention to what ever I said during my visit. Since I was new to this country and new place, I had no idea this doctor would ruin my pregnancy. throughout my 33 weeks of pregnancy she kept prescribing me medicines which had lots of side effects.. Ultimately my liver and kidneys shut down which led to immediate c-sec. I moved to Danville and doctors helped me with the delivery.

Dr. Patel delivered my son. Without asking my permission and when there was no medical necessity, she performed an assisted delivery using her hand, which resulted in a 2nd degree tear. When other doctors saw me from 9-16w post-partum when I switched providers for convenience (closer to my home), each of them commented how bad the stitching was. She said it looked good at my 6 week appt. I am still in pain 8 months post-partum. I had also requested a delayed cord clamping. She would not hand him to me before cutting the cord because "all the blood will rush back into the placenta", which makes 0 sense. She then force-delivered the placenta by tugging the cord instead of allowing me to pass it naturally, which also was contrary to the birth plan we'd discussed and she had a copy of. Don't expect her to have your care in mind. I will also be filing a formal complaint with the hospital.

so hard if not impossible to get a follow up call from Dr. Patel or her assistants if you have a pressing matter. If you are try to schedule an appointment because they do not get back to your messages, then you are looking at a very unacceptable time response. Maybe she is very good or simply lack of OBGYN's in the area !!!

A good consult, communicative and personable and answers questions (even if the questions are among the frequently asked).
