My mom (90) fell and was rushed to the hospital - this doctor came and examined her in the very small hours of the morning and promptly operated as soon as possible. Surgery went very well and he was extremely upbeat and honest about her recovery. Surgery procedure went very fast, which I'm sure helped lessen the trauma of the whole partial hip replacement ordeal. Explained what needed to be done before procedure, and promptly found me following to reassure all went well and explain where we needed to go from that point. Very kind and concerned; not rushed at all - felt he was willing to take time needed to make everything clear and at the same time concise. Was grateful he treated Mom and her situation without predjudice because of her age. She is a tough cookie, and I think he could see that. I am hoping for the best.

A night and day difference from my experience at my previous orthopedic office. Dr. Seybold spent probably 25 minutes with me instead of 3 and came across as genuine, friendly, and thorough. It was the first time in my life I was able to leave an orthopedic office and not be frustrated or angry (I am a seasoned veteran in such offices). I did have to wait more than 45 minutes, but I honestly didn't care because everyone in the office was respectful, friendly, and helpful. Even the other patients were friendly.

I saw this doctor in the fall of 2010. I found him to be extremely cocky, rude, and arrogant. I was experiencing pain in pretty much everything from my waist to my knees and needed a doctor who was willing to do more than a quick surgical fix--it was clear he didn't want to help me at all. In fact, after simply reviewing my MRI and x-ray (no exam or history info), he entered the room and immediately told me that there was nothing wrong with me and that I should go home and live my life. I had to practically beg him to listen to me. I left in tears and was SO angry that he didn't even want to explore my pain and dysfunction and simply didn't want to deal with me because my MRI didn't show something he could cut. I have since found another ortho who has diagnosed me with multiple spinal probs and bilateral hip arthritis and bursitis. This doctor was shocked that I had been told there was nothing wrong with me and is helping me with treatments to help restore my mobility.
