Dr. Callahan is a great doctor, if you can ever get in with her or through the terrible staff to her. When Dr. Callahan worked as part of Patient First Physicians Group, things were a bit easier. I found it convenient to be able to see one of the other associates if my primary wasn't available. Since the Tri-State Monopoly called St. Elizabeth Physicians bought every single independent office, you must navigate through a voice mail maze before reaching the office and will usually want 15-70 minutes for someone to answer. Today I waited from 8:00-9:11 am. I was just calling for a refill on my antidepressants. The office called back to say they were called in at noon, but the pharmacy didn't get the rx. And when both the pharmacy and I tried to call the office back, their phones were down (which happens often) for hours. But the fax line was accepting calls. I finally called the 1-800 number and they sent the staff an email. Thgis is typical for this office.
