Horrible communication. I left a message to get my results on an ultrasound that the Dr ordered and I did not receive a phone call back. I had to call again got an answering machine for the 2nd time, immediately pressed 0 to talk to someone and the person i spoke to said that there was nothing that they could do and told me to leave another message. I don't even know why I have to call to get results why are they not calling me!?! I am 42 yrs old waiting on results of an ultrasound on my testicles not a good feeling. I cancelled my future appointment.

incompetent, arrogant... hungry for money, charged for visit 3 times more than was previosly informed. Charged me only 160 just for showing up for 5 min - me, quadriplegic in wheelchair - ridiculous. For 7 years after injury i met many many different doctors around the world. But never like this one. Catheter change was not sterile. Procedure was not complete. Charged another 100 for that. Frontdesk personel was rude and nasty. NEVER AGAIN! BEWARE!

The office was closed and staff was gone to lunch at the time they scheduled my appointment. They have not billed my insurance correctly for a simple office visit and have yet to correct it.

I had a vasectomy by Dr. Burney and became very dissatisfied 9 mos. later when I received additional bills. Upon questioning I learned that because my insurance didn’t cover the surgery, Dr. Burney wasn’t required to honor the negotiated rate. Upon calling my insurance reps I found out that there is a stipulation in their agreement with their providers that if the Insurance Co. is not paying the bill then the provider doesn’t have to honor the negotiated rates. This information isn’t disclosed up front to patients and is told only when asked. I personally find it UNETHICAL for a physician to utilize their status as a participating provider and then turn around 11 mos. later and state that they will not be honoring the network’s discount because they don’t have to. In addition his billing staff is condescending and doesn’t respond to phone messages in a timely manner. It took 2 mos. of phone calls to find this out. I would not recommend this physician or his practice to anyone.
