There seems to be 2 split opinions on her here. From our personal experience, I must agree with the worse opinions. As a physician, I found her and her staff's "non-care" totally unacceptable. Made me question whether she has bias against ethnic groups. While UVA Healthcare has remedied this situation, I have filed a formal complaint. Fail is a fail. Hope she learns from this experience.

I've had three appointments with Dr. Kroeger so far. In each appointment she not only took the time to listen to me and my concerns, but has also been thorough in her testing for my condition and trying different remedies. She's very kind and sympathetic and it's absolutely wonderful that she gives out her cell phone to her clients for emergencies. Her receptionist is also wonderful. Angela always has a smile for me when I come in and has helped me deal with insurance paperwork at each visit. I would highly recommend Dr. Kroeger to anyone.

I have seen Dr. Kroeger for over 5 years. She has always been very kind, caring and knowledgable. I am thrilled she is still in practice because there is no other neurologist like her!

Dr. Kroeger was caring, compassionate and thorough. She took a great deal of time listening to me and then talking to me about what my problem (migraines) was and what to do about it. I would recommend her to any of my friends or family!

Dr. Kroeger was wonderful, especially when compared with mom's last neurologist. She was compassionate and informative.

I had an appointment with this doctor. I was called and asked to come in earlier. When I arrived at the office, the office was dark and the door locked. I was 10 minutes early so I waited. I waited for 20 minutes past my appointment time and the office remained dark and the door remained locked. I later found out that my appointment was cancelled. I had left work early for this appointment and I was angry that no one was there. My time is valueable too but the doctor did not seem to care about that. If I had cancelled an appointment or did not show up, I would have been charged. However, the doctor did not take that into consideration. I will not take more time off work an risk that my appointment will be cancelled.

Dr. Kroeger is a young and obviously inexperienced physician. In her appointments, she is unprepared and gets flustered easily. Her demeanor is very dismissive, and it's difficult to tell if she's paying attention or not. She seems to have very little general medical knowledge outside her own field.
