I had a highly unsatisfactory experience during my one single visit to Dr. Kellner’s clinic. His clinic is really shabby and his own appearance (obese, unkempt with a few days worth of stubble) matched the clinic’s appearance. Problem doesn’t stop at cleanliness or appearance. He took my full mouth X-ray and offered no assessment of the condition of my teeth and straightway proceeded with the cleaning. After the cleaning he jumped to another patient and through his nurse asked me to come back for a filling later. I had my doubts about the need for any fillings so I called him back to discuss the condition of my teeth. He was unnecessarily rushing through our 5 minute long conversation citing patient commitments and offered no sound reasons for having THREE fillings done. Frustrated, I transferred my file to a dentist I found through the Consumers CHECKBOOK database at my local library. The new dentist looked at the X-rays and said no fillings are necessary.

My 11 year old son fell and cracked his front teeth in half.In August 2 temporary teeth were put in and he was fitted for crowns. This man has refused to put the crowns in until he recieves money upfront from claims made against 2 ins. companies even though we paid him some from our own pocket and asked him MANY times to make payment arragements until the insurance is settled. In November the temp.teeth kept falling out and he kept gluing them in still not willing to put the crowns in.Final visit we had we were told he had to be fitted for new crowns because time has passed and his mouth had shifted. We have switched to a new dentist where he will complete the work.My son right now is currently without his front teeth because his gums are badly infected. His office is VERY dirty. The new dentist has put him on Antiobiotic and will put new crowns in when the infection has cleared. For 5 months my son has suffered unnecessarily. Most unprofessional to put money before best interest of a child.

He removed a cap which went well. I went back to have fragments of a rotten tooth removed and he worked on me for 1 hour. He gave me pain medicine which didn't work-so I ended up calling his office 3 times and only got a call back once-the l day was a day off and another day was told by him and his staff that sometimes you need a day off (even though his hrs. were stated on a card. ) I asked twice if I needed a antibotic and was told no-then when I went back to his office 1 week later to have the stitches removed asked again and he said "well if you want it" When he took the stitches out, his hands were shaking and the next 2 times in the same week, I went back for him to apply medicine to the site-his hands were shaking and his gowns were not very clean. I felt he was very unprofessional and will not go back ever!

This dentist is rude and does a sloppy job. We had 2 root canals there and both got infected and the crown was not put on properly. One tooth ended up getting pulled and one tooth had to have the root canal, post, and crown redone! We had to file an insurance claim against this dentist. The office is dirty. The receptionists are nice and helpful and you can get an appt. right away for an emerg., but you'll end up paying more money because the work won't be done right and you'll have to go through the pain twice!
