closed office all of a sudden without any warnings which was very suspicious. Did he do something wrong ? Afraid of getting sued ? Running away ?

Poor professional and ethical principles: closed office without any warnings after visiting him 2 weeks prior. No reason given nor alternative resources. Seem nice, personable, etc.... but judging from his "running away" was all faked.

I got a letter today informing me that AUC is closing Jan 29 .
No explanations or referrals were given .
Does any one know what’s up here ?

When I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, my urologist recommended Dr. Perrotti, one of the best specialist in upstate New York. My first reaction was to go to Columbia Presbyterian in NYC. Knowing their facilities, great reputation, doctors experience... I just wanted to get the best care. Then I heard about Dr. Perrotti again from different people in my community, so out of curiosity I did my research on him, that led to a meeting and now I'm cancer free and very happy that I've made the right choice. His level of knowledge and skills, his experience with all the latest technology and his excellent communication resulted in the best care!
I'd highly recommend him and his staff at Albany Urologic Oncology.

Great doctor. Takes the time to actually talk to you and discuss your condition/situation in detail. Answers all and any questions. Knowledgeable, professional . Staff returns calls. Office visits are punctual.

I have him to be a stand offish dr. I didn't get that great bed side manner feeling. I didn't like after surgery to get called to the desk and handed a phone. I prefer talking to a person face to face not a phone receiver.

I would have liked to give Dr. Perrotti a good review. He's normally a compassionate doctor, however, his staff is almost unreachable and when they don't do their jobs, he doesn't seem to be much more concerned about it than they are. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone who is looking for managing pain symptoms. Don't plan on anyone getting back to you in a timely manner. They think about themselves, not about the patient.

I found Dr. Perotti to be the nicest doctor I have ever had. His concern,knowledge and care was by far best there could be. I trusted him immediately and was very comfortable going into my surgery. My surgery went well and his follow up care was fantastic. I am two weeks out of the hospital and doing well. Mine was a kidney problem andI would highly recommend Dr. Perotti for any kidney problems.
