We would never recommend this doctor to anyone who is starting their pregnancy, the doctor is never on time and makes you wait for atleast an hour after you are on time for your appointment. She never has time for the patient and does not listen to your questions. she is always in a hurry and trying to finish the appointment in 5-10 minutes. its like she is already one feet out of the door in 5 minutes. She will make you see the nurse half the times for your appointment after you pay the insurance co-pay to see the doctor, even during your final few weeks of pregnancy. Her staff is also very rude. Stay away from this doctor, you never want to go to this doctor for your pregnancy or any other OB matters. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS OB DOCTOR.

First time when i made an appointment calling her office, and asked them if they take my insurance which was blue cross/blue shield PPo plan, they said yes, they do take it, so i made an appointment for my regular checkup and pep smear. Everything turned out to be good, but they never filed my bill to the insurance company nor to me. After 6 months later i got pregnant and had a miscarriage and had a d@c procedure with her. All of my bills were filed and payed by my insurance, except very first one. Almost after 1 yr. my insurance told me that they have received this bill and they are not going to pay, because that time she was not a preferred provider of bc/bs. I tried to talk to her billing company explaining everything what happened, but they were so rude, and sent my case to agency collector.??????????her staff is very rude, and would never tell the truth. I wish i had a solid proof, so i could go further for help. watch out...........

I WENT TO MY APPOINMENT AND MET BY A VERY PLEASANT STAFF, AND THE DOCTOR WAS VERY PLEASANT TO TALK TO. I SEEN THE RATINGS FROM LAST YEAR AS WELL, BUT I GAVE HER A SHOT ANYWAY. THE WAY I SEEN IT, IT IWAS LAST YEARS NEWS. I BELIEVE SHE DID A COMPLETE TURN AROUND ON HER SERVICE AS A DOCTOR. I GUESS YOU SHOULDNT BELIEVE EVRYTHING YOU READ, AND JUST FIND OUT FOR YOUR OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.

I arrived on-time to an overflowing waiting room. When I asked how late the doctor was running, the staff said she was on-time. About 90 minutes later, I finally saw the doctor. This was 6 weeks ago and I have still not received the lab test results.

Will never go back to the office after my experience today. Was supposed to have an IUD placed today. After realizing I would be late for my apt I notified the office and let them know I wasn't more than a few minutes away. They said ok and hung up, called me back a few minutes later and said the MD couldn't wait and if "i wasn't there in 5 minutes the MD would be gone". I told them I was literally 2 blocks away and would be there in a minute. They said no, she can't wait so I'd have to reschedule. You have to be on your period for IUD insertion and by Monday it would be gone which would involve waiting another month again. I showed up anyway to find everyone including the MD standing around talking in the front office. I've had IUD insertion before literally takes 5 minutes. The MD ignored me and kept talking. Irritating because the MD made me wait 1 hour last 2 visits when I was on time. I'm an RN in a busy oncology office and know how business should be done. No compassion.

We were planning to have a baby so i went to her for my usual check up & pap smear. I clearly told her that within few months we wish to get pregnant so asked her about taking pre-natals. As i was already taking one multivitamin, i asked her about folic acid as the MV has only 400 mcg. She was very rude in answering my questions. After insisting a lot, she prescribed me 1 mg Folic acid. She doesnt want to give you more than couple of minutes even if you go for just couselling. She immediately suggested me to start ovulation inducing drug Clomid even if i wished to try naturally. Her bill processing deptt which is done by a company in Orange County, they are so inefficient that instead of negotiating & sending the bills to insurance company, they will send you the bill & they are particularly very fond of sending " final notices" It was such a headache for me ( and i have Aetna insurance) if thats not sufficient for this doc, i dont know what will be! She just treats you as another #

she was late to appts b/c her young kids kept her from getting to work on time (I understand kids as I have 4 of them; she has only 2). She would give me conflicting info during appts---telling me to NOT walk & risk jumpstarting labor, but then the next week telling me it's ok to walk and nothing could jumpstart labor. Seems like she just tells you what you think you want to hear, but is inconsistent. I dont' know why I stayed w/ her throughout my whole pregnancy; probably b/c it was my 4th kid adn I was much more lax. She knew it was my 4th and therefore, that labor could be very fast. She had lots of knowledge that I was going in to the hospital to get induced. Nurses called her a few times to get over to the hospital (several hours later). turns out she was late to delivering my baby. Would not recommend her. Her office staff isn't much better. DO NOT SEE HER

my first visit was for a routine pap and possible cyst. i had to push for an ultrasound even though i looked pregnant with a basketball (unusual for me) and once she referred me for it, i heard conflicting information about the results. her office called me and said my ultrasound results came back normal. on having the report faxed to my regular doctor, he told me the report dr. prema had also received showed there was evidence of a large collapsed cyst and the presence of many other folicular cysts. all of that was considered "normal" to dr. prema! and was not conveyed to me by her at all. well, this report explained a lot to me about what i had been going through. it was a very difficult time for me for many reasons and an unhelpful doctor was another factor i did not need. i would never go back to her. plus she tried to push birth control pills on me to regulate my cycle even though i clearly stated that i didn't want to take hormonal supplementation! not a good experience.

What was discussed in the office and what was written on my consent paper work 2 days befor surgery did not match. When I called the office to receive a new consent form, the paper work was still written up incorrectly. It went from a minor fibroid tumor removed to a partial hysterectomy and then to a full hysterectomy. None of this was discussed with me. I cancelled my surgery and found a new Doctor as soon as possible. Thank you...Rate your Doctor web site.
