I went into labor and delivered my son on a Monday. But it was an on-call doctor who delivered him. I never saw Dr. Holder a single time in the hospital until he discharged me on Wednesday. He kept missing me on his rounds or said he’d come back then wouldn’t. Apparently the only has time to see his patients post birth is at one time in the morning?? My nurse even wondered why he was ignoring me. 2 days is unnecessary for an uncomplicated birth, Dr Holder was simply lazy, negligent, and unprofessional in my case. 0 stars for his professionalism.

Dr. Holder was the OBGYN for all three of my pregnancies and he was very knowledgeable and patience when he needed to explain things to me. I've given birth three different ways and each time he was informative and supportive. My first born son was too big and getting stuck in my cervix, Dr. Holder called for a emergency C-section immediately and explained the procedure. At the time I was pregnant with my second child V.A.C was encouraged and allowed. Dr. Holder explained the procedure to me and the possible problems that could occur. He also spoke to me about having another cesarean and the good and bad things about this procedure also, but he left it up to me. I ended up having my daughter natural with no complications. During my final pregnancy Dr. Holder monitored me closely so I could make a well informed decision. At 6 months old he felt that once again I would give birth to a fairly large baby. He was able to determine that this child would be the biggest and suggested a scheduled C-section. I went with his advise and had no problems.
I found Dr. Holder to be well informed and very professional. I would recommend him to anyone. He does not have a 'warm, cozy' personality but he is very professional and always listened to my concerns. I felt he took my choices into consideration every time and was able to give me factual information so I could make well-informed decisions. He even honored my decision of having my tubes tied but not before he asked me very important questions and giving me all the information needed for the procedure.
He is an amazing doctor and he did a fabulous job for me and I have three healthy children to attest to that!!!

If I could give them a NEGATIVE star rating I most certainly would. This is the worst Meical office I've ever had to deal with. The doctor was horrible, no communication at all! Then when I found out I had an infection I came back in and they did the SAME exact exam all over again and of course I got charged twice!! The doctor said I had an infection but completely forgot to put in the prescription to the pharmacy. I spent half of the next day calling their office trying to explain why I needed the medication and that the doctor had forgotten to put it in. THEN when the infection didn't go away after taking all the prescribed meds I called and they told me I had to go back in AGAIN! I'm not trying to pay for 3 doctors visits for the same thing! I would NOT recommend them if they were the last Gyno in town.

I went to Dr. Holder's office on reference of a couple of friends and I felt very comfortable with everyone there. Originally I was to alternate between Marsha Prince and Dr. Holder, but when we found out there were two babies instead of one I went soley to Dr. Holder. I was a little shy over going to a man, but he accomodated my bashfulness with kindness. He made sure I understood what was going on, had informational pamphlets, and answered my stupid questions with grace. When I went into preterm labor he immediately admitted me and took the necessary precautions before shipping me to TMC. It's because he took the necessary steps in the first place that I was able to keep my babies inside for another week, he wasn't afraid to say I was too risky to keep me here. I've never had any problems with him or his staff.

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. Dr. Holder keeps terrible medical records. He did not record any medical diagnosis. He told my wife that she was threatening miscarriage and needed to be on bed rest. However, the medical records that he kept did not support this. We were turned down for disability based on faulty paperwork. We tried to consult him and he quickly became defensive about his practice. On top of their lack of professionalism, he showed a total lack of concern for my wife and our baby. He did not monitor contractions, or check my wife's cervix after her continued complaining of pre-term contractions. After moving to another doctor we immediately found that my wife was dilated 1cm and sent for an ultrasound to check on the length of her cervix. The new doctor could not believe that Dr. Holder had not checked her cervix in 2 months. The new practice and the ins. co. agreed that Dr. Holder showed a lack of concern for my wife and baby.

I went into preterm labor three years ago. I was high risk with my pregnancy - age and medically. Dr. Holder upon hearing about my condition after being away for the weekend medevac'd me to TMC. It was there that tests were performed and I had a potentially fatal infection. Our daughter was born 3 months premature. Thanks to Dr. Holder, both my daughter and I are alive today and healthy. He is absolutely THE BEST!

Dr. Holder delivered my youngest daughter 18 years ago. I was very ill and my baby and I were dying. Dr. Holder kept checking on us at the hospital. I was in labor for 3 days the second day he just stayed at the hospital to make sure that we would be okay. I ended up needing an emergency c-section and he was there to save us. I will forever be thankful. So, as I look back on the last 18 yrs my thankfulness for this amazing young woman is in part due to an amazing attentive Doctor. I think that Dr. Holder is an excellent high risk pregnancy/delivery DR. Thank you again Dr. Holder for saving my Shelby Leigh~ Heather

I can't imagine anyone having a poor experience with Dr. Holder and calling him unsympathetic. He has always listened to my concerns and given me guidance. What I like most -- if he doesn't feel like he can handle a situation or doesn't have the means to do so, he will outsource (he doesn't play God). Dr. Holder saved my life as well as my daughter's life two years ago. I can't say enough about him!

Dr. Holder was not sympathetic to my concerns or needs. I was very unimpressed with the way he spoke to me.
