I had laser cataract surgery performed by Dr Lane in September 2023. All of my pre and post op appointments were fast and efficient. My surgeries were tremendously successful! Dr Lane and his staff are wonderful and I recommend the LASIK Cataract Centre to everyone.

While looking for an ophthalmologist for cataract surgery I was drawn to Dr.David Lane by his very impressive resume’ and his personal philosophy. His clinic’s mission “is to provide world class patient centered advanced laser vision correction” and they certainly live up to their mission. Dr Lane is a gifted eye surgeon who’s calm soft spoken demeanour and professional manner relieves any anxieties you might have. Everyone at this clinic, from my very first appointment through to my surgery and after surgery check ups were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. They answered all my questions no matter how silly I thought they were. Dr. Lane has a very pleasant bedside manner and I felt totally at ease putting my surgery in his capable hands, never was I nervous. That meant a lot to me as the surgery was a total unknown and I trusted Dr. Lane completely. As he was recommended to me, I would highly recommend him.

The practice is very busy, however everything about the experience was smooth, no real wait times, staff were friendly and helpful, Dr. Lane was very knowledgeable and attentive, and the result of cataract surgery has been a total success. I now just need to learn to tolerate dust and normal imperfections in my world, those things which I couldn't see before!

Dr Lane is usually very brief with his comments when I go for annual checkups for an ongoing issue. However when I recently went with a troubling concern with my vision he was very kind and explained what was happening in detail I could understand and relieved any anxiety that I was feeling. I trust his opinion and value his expertise. His staff and nurses are extremely knowledgeable and friendly!

Just had my eyes done by Dr Lane. Had lenses for distance implanted. It is like a miracle, I can read road signs, drive in the dark. Almost my close up is much better don’t need glasses to read texts. Thank you Dr. Lane and staff.
