Dr Duncan Lyall, is hands down one of the best GPs I have ever seen. I have been seeing him for years and he is compassionate, knowledgeable and generous with his time. He has diagnosed and treated me for several serious condition and his surgical background also helped when dealing with skin cancer treatment saving me time and placing me at ease that I was getting great support and care.
He has been actively managing my chronic pain and mental health issues alongside my specialist and is very well informed across many fields.
And above all he is well versed with DVA and their bureaucracy which really helps me greatly.
My whole family is cared for by Duncan and the team at Castle hill medical centre for many years and I can highly recommend him.
As you would expect a GP of this calibre is hard to get in with however if urgent the other doctors at CHMC are always able to see you as your patient file is always up to date and through (I wish I could say the same at other medical centres we used in the past).
Highly recommend and would give 10 stars if I could.

Dr. Lyall is my first choice for my children. He is very knowledgable and keeps informed with the latest studies and progress in medicine. If you are looking for a doctor that uses common sense and makes sound diagnosis rather than using cautionary antibiotics and time wasting tests then Dr. Lyall comes highly recommended.

An excellent GP. He has cared for our family for many years, and I have never once felt he didn't know what was going on with me or my family. He is happy to call specialists if he wants a second opinion however each time he has called they have just confirmed what he already thought. He is very easy to talk to and I feel comfortable discussing anything with him. My only gripe is that one of the receptionists was very unprofessional the last time I was there. She was very loud and the whole waiting room could hear her phone conversations. I overheard the other receptionist say to one of the other doctors that she thought she had been drinking. This is obviously not the doctor's fault but its a worry if the reception staff are not on the ball as they have access to all the confidential records.

Dr Lyall is very thorough in investigating symptoms - is always pleasant and remembers who you are (something not all doctors are noted for) - interested in patient's family
