Dr. Pessoa has been treating our daughter for a skin condition for over a year now. She exudes a kind aura, and puts our daughter at ease on every visit. When she had to do a procedure to cut a growth from her upper lip, she was visibly affected and did her best to minimize our daughter's suffering. Because our daughter was only 2, it was hard for her and Dr. Pessoa made it as quick and painless as possible. Although her appointments always seem to run late, I find that this is common with doctors who really take the time to explain things and form a connection and trust with their patients. Although frustrating at times, I would rather wait a bit for a doctor I feel comfortable with than be right on schedule with some of the real jerks out there practicing medicine.
