Had carpel tunnel release surgery, sent home with Tylenol 3 and told to take extra Tylenol for pain. Worst post op treatment, nurses treat you like a drug seeking loser because your in pain that Tylenol can't help. Insensitive staff and doctors

“You're not going to live an active lifestyle anyway, why should you care?” These were his exact words to me in a post operative visit. I had broken a wrist and had surgery to put pins in the bone to secure it while it healed. Before surgery the plan was for two pins, when I woke up there were four. (and it did not look like the pamphlet or what we had discussed) I understand that medicine is not an exact science, still it was natural to ask why things had gone differently than planned and if there would be any adverse affects associated with that. He explained to me that I was not going to live an active lifestyle, it was my non-dominant hand anyway, and that it did not matter if my wrist did not heal properly. Which was the case, I had to have a second surgery to fix the first. I'm not sure which was worse, that he botched an operation, or that he completely did not care about the results. My experience with this doctor was horrible.
