I was Dr. Silbert's patient for several years. He is very soft spoken and laid back. He mentioned I had something called drusen in my eyes, but didn't seem too worried about it. He recommended I take Lutein and that was it. I moved to another area and found a new eye doctor. She diagnosed me with Macular Degeneration and referred me to a Retina Spec. immediately. Because of Dr. Silbert not diagnosing me correctly, I lost precious time and am now a stage 3 (out of 4). Needless to say, I am sick over the thought of losing my eyesight because this was not treated right away.
