I knew Dr Zampella was to be my surgeon when the plaque on his desk said “ UNLESS YOU ARE THE LEAD DOG THE VIEW NEVER CHANGES “
Little did I know he would operate on me more than once—each time allowing me the best quality of life for my medical history when others said my fate was doomed

I am so sad that this doctor retired. He was the finest neurosurgeon in New Jersey. No one cared for patients the way he did.

I had cervical spine surgery and Dr. Zampella was excellent at explaining the what and why, spent whatever time was necessary with me. The outcome of the surgery was very good although I may need a second operation (which I was told up front). His follow up and bedside manner are quite excellent.

Dr Zampella diagnosed and operated on my brain tumor. I was paralysed before the surgery, but regained full use of my arm.He was kind, compassionate, and was always there for me. Another surgeon had told me my tumor was "inoperable". I heard recently that Dr Zampella was sick himself. I pray that he will be better so that he can help others like he helped me.

Dr. Zampella gave me my life back!! GOD BLESS HIM!!.. I met him and he explained to me what I had and how I could fix it. I had 2 herniated discs pinching on my sciatic nerve. he operated on me and i was walking with no problems to the bathroom 4 hours after i got to my room and i was back at work for my 3rd week of being operated. It is now my 5th week after surgery and am able to live totally better. He has followed up with me to see how I am feeling and always answers any question i have. May god bless him!!

DrZampella gave me my life back, I was nearly crippled from spinal stenosis. He operated on me and I was home in 72 hours. The relief of pain was miraculous.

Excellent and caring physician. He listened to me, examined me and my MRI, then arrived at a diagnosis. I was scared to death about my surgery, but he took the time to reassure me. I had the surgery and was back on my feet in no time. I love this man!!!!!!!!!!
