I'm not sure who this other comment is talking about since he does not have a NP. Dr. Mignone works alone and always has. He has one office person who does Administration tasks only. I think this person who commented has the wrong Doctor.
Dr. Mignone is punctuation to the minute. He has enormous amount of knowledge, being an MD as well as a Psychiatrist. He has practiced for 40 years or so, I believe. I know several people that go to him and never have I heard a bad comment about him or his practice.

Dr. Mignone and his staff came highly recommended. I was extremely disappointed in the level of care my girlfriend received. The doctor spent 30 minutes with me and basically said there was little he could do to treat her post-traumatic stress disorder. Little attempt was made to work with her to find the appropriate medication. (She originally came to the doctor because her primary care physician was not adequately treating anxiety/depression/PTSD. She needed the care of a competent psychiatrist.) My girlfriend was passed on to one of the staff nurse practitioners, who did little more to help her. Basically, my partner was repeatedly told that there was little that could be done to help her. The NP put her on 3 antidepressants, which resulted in a manic episode requiring hospitalization. Thank goodness the doctor at the hospital helped and found the right medication. She's doing much better now -- no thanks to Dr. Mignone or his staff.
