My DRE was thorough and expert. He was clearly knowledgeable and very direct. He seemed rushed and I was nervous with him because of that. I would not go back to him for that reason. He seems very old-school, authoritarian doctor-knows-best, now-be-a-good-patient-and-move-along type of practitioner. I did not understand everything he told me and did not feel that questions were welcome, but rather an unnecessary delay in his schedule.
