As the other reviewer clearly state, you should look else where. I too have left his practice after receiving conflicting advise from him and failure to follow through on his part and that of his staff. Calls to the office are not returned in a timely fashion if at all.

AVOID! It’s a shame I can’t leave no stars! My partner switched from his Miami specialist to Dr Horror-twit after relocating. It was obvious he needed a renewed prescription as his symptoms had returned following finishing his last prescription and a 3month break. Instead, despite having copies of all his medical records Dr Horowitz did a ton of tests for Cushing’s Disease which were not necessary. After finally deciding it was still Prolactinoma he suggested my partner NOT continue with Cabergoline, but instead to take have testosterone replacement therapy and Viagra, neither of which address the problem and would affect our ability to have kids. We were told his tumour had shrunk dramatically (not true), he no longer required Cabergoline (also not true), but if he MUST he could take half a pill twice a week (a dose smaller than he was previously taking which hadn’t had much effect). The staff were incredibly rude and Dr Horowitz and the office a nightmare to get in touch with. My partner was so distraught he wanted to give up and except his fate. I on the other hand refused, found another doctor who was outraged and insisted that Prolactinoma patients are most likely always going to need medication to keep the tumor at bay and that his was big enough that he needed a significantly higher dose that they would have to build up to. The other Doctor spent an hour with us talking us though what to expect. Since leaving Dr Horowitz we have fianllly heard from them: either re. bills and more bills or chasing us to see why we left. I'm not sure how many times my partner told them down the phone all the flaws in their service and knowledge and understanding of his condition. If you have Prolactinoma avoid Dr Horowitz he will rinse you/your medical insurance dry. Try Jupiter Medical Center instead, they have several very good specialists there who provide excellent care and great customer service.

Rotten doctor. Dr Horowitz will do what I want, but I have to be the doctor first and tell him what is needed to then get his approval for it to happen. Was recommended to me by a friend so I saw him, but later friend withdrew recommendation after bad results at the office and testing and results. This office only gets 3’s because I know what I needed and told doctor what to do. They do have lab in their office, but tests take several days to come back, and you are better to use the lab in the building lobby. Find another doctor or be ready to be the doctor yourself.

Worst endocrinologist. Even as a patient for approximately10 years did not care when two serious specialist required me to go to my endocrinologist for input to diagnose two serious medical experiences. Even when initially talked to Dr. Horowitz about the problem after seeing him twice a year for several years wld hardly listen....ran out of room quickly ....it took weeks to get test results . Nasty feedback on the phone. Basically, I dunno and an undercurrent of who cares in the office. Find another doctor . I did.

I haven't stopped crying since I left this doctors office today. He basically made me feel like all my symptoms were in my head, despite lab results from two recent ER visits stating I had a serious condition. He almost was upset with me for my symptoms not fiting into the "norm". If you want to be taken seriously please do not go to this doctor!

This doctor is rude. Never calls you back if you need to speak to him. Even if he tells you he'll call you he doesn't. His staff is rude. He spends like two minutes with you. He really rushes out. He doesn't listen to you. You can never get in to see him. Just a unpleasant person.

I have been treated with much respect and kindness by Dr. Horowitz and his staff whether in person or on the phone. I have been going to him for over 7 years with no plans to change.

This physician and his staff are the worst in the region. Doctor never called back after repeated attempts. Went to a scan and didnt receive a pregnancy results which could of resulted in abnormalities in the pregnancy. Still havent received scan results after three weeks and blood results. This is the worst experience of my life after being diagnosed with a new disease.
