All the experiences I had with Dr. Hillebrand were always helpful. Yes, she was rushed, but I didn't mind the wait. I'm sad that she left but I am happy to know that she was my blessing in disguise to help me get pregnant and deliver a healthy baby. Thanks, dr. h.

Dr. Hillebrand delivered my daughter and also helped me through an unfortunate miscarriage. She was always very kind and compassionate. Her humor and her nononsense attitude helped me through a very tough delivery. Yes, I also had to wait up to an hour or more to see her for some of my appointment; which was a bit aggravating. Yes, there were times that she seemed frazzled and rushed but, she is a very busy doctor with many loyal patients. I am very dissapointed that she is no longer practicing in my area because it is very difficult to find a trusted doctor.

I started seeing Dr. Hillebrand for maternity care when I 1st found out I was pregnant. I really liked her, she wasn't annoying like a lot of other OBGYNs out there, and always got right to the point. When it came down to any sort of emergencies I never got called back or time to delivery the baby; she never showed and another doctor did it. (it was a weekday and she informed me days prior she would be available). I was extremely disappointing by that, but still (baby was born happy and healthy!) continued to see her. until 4 months later when i went to schedule my annual appointment, my call was directed to some other number which is some totally different practice!!! They were very vague and told me Dr. Hildebrand is now in NY and not be practicing in California. I don't know what happened! but now i am on the unpleasant hunt for a new OBGYN.

Hillebrand is the rudest dr i have ever been to. That is the first and the last time i go to see her(3/25/09). I had to wait over an hour to be seen. Her receptionist was very rude, very snooty, and acted as if i were wasting her time. Hillebrand was rushed throughout my entire appointment, she didnt answer any of my questions, and she made me feel as if i were an inconvenience. She also pulled out the little small medication book with me as well. Shouldn't a dr be more knowledgable than that? She cusses! Yes, the walls in the office are very thin and i do not find that comforting at all. I had called several times and the staff never answers, nor do they return calls in a timely manner. I had to wait 3 months before i can be seen.i was rescheduled 3 times, and she only has a staff of 2! How can any possibly run an extremely busy office with a staff of two?! I dont think she knows how to run a business. The staff looked very unhappy. I would NOT reccomend going to Hillebrand EVER!!!

Her staff seemed a little cold. I've been treated better. I did have to wait a little over 30 minutes for my appointment. What I found different and nice about Dr. Hillebrand compared to other doctors, she did sit with me in her office before my initial check-up to talk about any concerns I had. That was nice. Never done that before. She kinda funny. Seemed a little rushed but also helpful. She is knowledgable except that when deciding on which medication to prescribe me, she had to pull out a little book to see. That kinda made me wonder. She also did a procedure I believed was unnecessary. But I guess she just had to be that accurate in her diagnosis and treatment. If it were any other doctor, I think they would've prescribed something and see what works. Lastly, if you decide to go to Dr. Hillebrand, be careful of what you say. Her examination room walls are very thin. I heard everything that was going on in the adjacent room from me.

I work for a dr's office myself so I am a little so so on Dr. Hillebrands practice. Yes, she does come off as extremely rushed, rude, and money hungry. She is always running behind on schedule, but yet she rushes through her appointments. She is very very rude to her staff. From what I have seen at my pre-natal appointments she scolds them, or makes them look incompetent. I can see why her staff may come off as not so polite, having to work in such a stressful and hostile envrioment. On the other hand, most likely the patients who have complained on this website and bashed dr Hillebrand are probably rude and miserable problematic patients to begin with. I have had both good and bad experiences with Dr. Hillebrand. Other than her mood swings, I do have to say she is a good dr. She knows what she's doing. So far my pregnancy has been swell and I look forward to Hillebrand delivering my baby.

I was hoping for a local doctor who was knowledgable in bio-identicals. There are only three listed in my area. Linda Hillebrand is listed as one BUT IS NOT ONE! I saw her three times and each time she she arrived in the room (after a very long wait) scattered and complained of how busy she was! She re-diagnosed me each time with great confusion. She also had to call the compounding pharmacist each time to ASK what to prescribe for my needs. I got more info and compassion from the local compounding pharmacist. Anyway I found a another doctor (out of the area) who knows her stuff and I am happy and well taken care of!

Dr. Hillebrand was my OB/GYN for my 1st pregnancy. Upon first meeting her, I will admit I was intimidated. She is a no nonsense, in charge kind of doctor, but hello isn't that THE kind of doctor you want? As I got to know her better throughout my appts, I really came to love her. She was always so helpful, and yes she is rushed but she always took the time to answer all my questions. She is very knowledgeable and very helpful and caring. It is not her fault that she is the only dr. in her practice and that she occasionally has to leave her office to deliver a baby. I would definately recommend her and in fact today was my post partum visit and I was sad to not be seeing her on a regular basis anymore. Dr. Hillebrand is by far the best doctor I have ever had!

Whatever you do, DO NOT go to Dr. H. She was my doctor for my first pregnancy and I always had a lot of questions, but she was always so rushed and never wanted to take the time to make you feel comfortable or answer any questions. However the only times she would spend time with me was when my husband came to the appts...she had no problem talking to him. Go Figure! Luckily I had a good pregnancy, but my delivery was another story. She totally tried to rush my delivery, even the nurses at SACH didn't understand why she made me start pushing so early...not to mention she kept going in & out of the delivery room making phone calls. Her staff is horrible, she doesn't have an actual nurse on staff and the receptionist is so rude, I asked to be seen after my delivery because I was so sore and she just wanted to give me more pain meds, finally I got in to see the Dr. at 7 wks post delivery and turns out I never healed right. The wait is always long and the dr. is simply not worth it.
