The WORST for rhinoplasty. He disfigured my nose badly and does not have any surgical skill at all.

I came to Doctor Clavin for a nose job,I carefully selected him after seeing other Doctors. I am extremely happy that he was able to help me, after another Doctor destroyed my nose. I highly recommend Dr. Clavin. He is the best and I was very happy with the resuls. His staff is wonderful.

Run from the doctor unless you want to be wearing a sign that says "bad nose job" for the rest of your life. I had a very nice nose from the front, but it was very long in profile. Today it is hideous and every 6 months it just gets worse and worse (one thing PS won't tell you). He narrowed it down to nothing even though it was already thin. The tip is flat and there are depressions everywhere. It is a classic example of scar contracture and skeletalization. I wouldn't get near him with a 10 foot pole. If you have thin skin like me (where every imperfection will show) he is probably the worst PS you could go to. If I had known how bad the final result would be (which unfortunately in rhinoplasty can take years to see) I would have taken legal action.

This doctor is fabulous. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. He takes the time to listen, and the results he gets are exactly as described. He redid an extremely poor facelift and eyelift and I couldn't be happier. I went back another time for lip enhancement. He does an unbelievably natural, and permanent fat grafting for the lips. He's a bit pricey, but well worth it.

Dr. Clavin told me he could not deliver a "10" on a revision rhinoplasty for me. If it is not a "10", it is pretty close! After only 4 days, I was able to socialize without anybody knowing. Now it is gradually becoming less swollen. My nose is not only smaller, but the shape is very pretty. Clavin wanted to do several grafts on my nose, and I was SO nervous; I was afraid it would be bigger. He assured me it would look smaller, and he was, without a doubt, right on. He even told me there was nothing that could be done with the middle portion of my nose (called the columella), but the graft he placed in the tip absolutely makes the columella look inifinitely better. I used to hate the way sunglasses looked on me, and now I find they all look good. I do not worry about getting a little sun on my nose, because it does not look large now when that happens. Clavin is a true artist, and I feel so lucky and blessed to have found him.

I could not recommend Dr. Clavin any higher. He is a fantastic surgeon and physician. He worked miracles on my nose which was botched by others. He was patient, kind, a total professional. He also did my wife's nose and she is a Hollywood Actress. He is a miracle worker... thank you Dr. Clavin for your expertise and skills and time you took with my nose. You saved my life and restored my face to perfection!! I am glad you teach other plastic surgeons as you do on how to do nasal surgery the right way! God Bless you Dr. Clavin.. i will continue to bless you and your family for giving me my life back and my wife her fanastic career.

Clavin is HORRIBLE!!! Went to him for a closed revision rhinoplasty...my tip was fine, and I expressed my desire only to have the crooked upper third masked by cartilage that was to be placed on opposite side. However, I woke with almost no cartilage left in my tip. Over the course of several months, a repeatedly complained that I was unhappy with the appearance...I felt that the nose looked worse than before. Clavin dismissed my concerns, claiming that "it was only swelling and would go down in a couple months." Well, 8 months went by and the deformity worsened. By this time, the cartilage implant had become dislodged and had migrated toward the middle of my nose. I went to his office to complain, but to no avail. Clavin was convinced that he'd done nothing wrong, and wondered why I was "making such a big deal of it all." I told him that it was my face, not his, and that I had to live with it, not him. He still didn't seem to get it though. Probably could have won a MP suit.

I went to Dr. Clavin because he seemed to have a good reputation and specialized in rhinoplasty. Really poor results. My nose was thin and long and I wanted it shorter. He thinned it even more (which he claims I asked him to do, but absolutely did not) and created a really artificial flattened tip with blundges and lots of cartilage showing through. My nose is crooked, has a bump and is not attractive at all. It looked better before. Other doctors have attested to my very poor results and have even commented on his old fashioned technique which left the tip of my nose in a "diamond shape". I will now have to pay to have it redone. Don't go to him.
