My 14yr old daughter and I have been going to Dr. after Dr. after Dr. for the last three years, trying to figure out what is wrong with her. Dr. Serano was our 2nd neuro we went to because of her siezures, head pain, numbness in her arms along with some other symptoms and he FINALLY found out whats going on with her! With in five minutes of looking at her he could tell she was sick just by her tounge! After he ordered blood work and it came back we found out she has a rare disease called P.A.N.D.A.S disease and celiac trait! The P.A.N.D.A.S has been causing her siezures along with a ton of mental health issues! Thanks to this wonderfully amazing man my daughter can now be a normal child again!!!! You will have to wait a long long time but he's so very worth it, if he yells at you don't take it personal because he's amazing at what he does! He saved my babies life and I will forever be thankful to him!! We love you DR.

After an initial 4 month wait to see Dr. Serano, I finally got in. My first visit was with the physician assistant. The waiting time in the overly- warm lobby was > 45 minutes. The exam room was even warmer. The PA seemed to be knowledgeable and referred me for more testing. Fast forward: I am still in the overheated lobby waiting for the follow-up visit, which the reception staff just told me would be with a nurse practitioner. My appointment was at 1:00 p.m. I arrived at 12:30 p.m. There was only one patient in the waiting room when I arrived. Several other At 2:00 p.m. I checked in with the desk again. They said that there were still 2 patients ahead of me and it be only another 10-15 minutes. It's now 2:36 p.m. And no sign of getting in any time soon.

Agreed that appointments are hard to get and the wait times are very lengthy, Dr Serano is the best doctor I have had the pleasure of being a patient of. Not only does he address and get down to the root cause of your issue, he is willing to address ANY other issues and problems you may have. This man cares and is not a rush you in and out Dr. Most Dr's assume your issue prescribe a med and hope they get it right. Dr. Serano will run every test possible and get down to the root cause. He is very candid and blunt but I would rather have a Dr. that takes the time to get it right and not guess. Again the wait can be terrible but if you know that going in then you can deal with it. This guy has taken care of 2 seperate chronic issues I have dealt with for 6+ years and multiple Dr's and specialists that assume to fix the problem with no results. He has also been able to diagnose potential serious issues and we are nailing down remedies for this as well. I cannot praise this guy enough. BB

Dr. Serano is a good, knowledgable doc; however, he is the least punctual physician I have ever known. Expect a LONG wait. He over books in the extreme.

I admit, waiting for an appointment was long but once he stepped into the room w/ me I knew he was different. Ever since I was a little girl I have been on different meds for anxiety, chronic headaches and other pains. It took him about an hour to discover the root of my pains. I'm extremely relieved that he didn't send me home with a hand full of meds. He trully is like "HOUSE" straight to the point and knowledgeable!!!

You wait along time to see him but he spends a long time with you. He has helped me so much get my life back. he can be rude but its funny because I love watching House and I swear that Dr Serano was who they were thinking of when they made the charecter DR. House.DR. Serano cares so much and wants to fiqure the whole picture of your health, not send you out the door with no answers or another meds. He is not afraid to practice medicine like it should be.He is not in medicine to make the insurance companies happy .In my book he is one of the kindest, most wonderful man. my God Bless him and his family.

Dr. Serano is a wonderful physician. He is very, very knowledgeable and helpful well beyond the problem he was visited for. He takes you seriously and makes you very relaxed. He does not talk "down" and listens with interest. He does not rush you through the visit and takes all the time needed. He leaves no stone unturned to track down the root cause of you health problem.
