My experience was awful with Dr. Dykstra, In June of 2018 my disabled 21 yr.old son went to see him for uncontrollable muscle movements, depression and anxiety. My son had stopped seeing the psychiatrist recommended by Dr. Dykstra because she was over medicating him he felt like a zombie. Dr. Dykstra never explained my son’s condition to me my husband or my son. He prescribed a benzodiazepine to my son and didn’t monitor his condition or even mention the fact it may cause severe depression. My son died because of his negligence.

Dr. Dykstra has been my doctor for years, and he has always given me effective treatment. Very friendly and professional. Scheduling an appointment is easy, and I've always been treated well in his office. I would most definitely recommend Dr. Dykstra to others.

I have seen several Doctors in my life, but Dr. Dykstra has been my physician for years and I have never felt better cared for. Dr. Dykstra is very approachable, easy to talk with, and very down to earth. Even though I have moved and live a ways away from his office now, there is no way I would change Doctors. His office also has two Physician Assistants and I have been seen by each of them on occasion; both P.A.'s are terrific, just like Dr. Dykstra. Also, when I was seen by the P.A.'s, I was asked if it was okay that I be seen by them versus my Doctor; I thought that it was very respectful to ask me for permission. I am very pleased with my Doctor and everyone else at his office.
