My family has been seeing Dr. Bestawrous because he was the closest doctor to where we live. His staff is always unkind, and unfriendly. The doctor himself, is always in a rush and doesn't take enough with his patients. I went in sick, and he refused to also take a blood sample to allow me to have a new script for a medication that I have been taking for 25 years, he said I had to make another appointment and come another time. Then I ran out of my cough syrup, the day before the holiday and weekend, so when I called for a refill, he said "No" I need to come in again or take over the counter cough syrup. This clearly shows that he doesn't care about the care of his patients. I also observed in the waiting room, the doctor refused to see a clearly very sick little child, about 3 years old, due to the parent was unable to pay a past due amount. I was shocked by this very cold, again uncaring act. I have nothing good to say about Dr. Bestawrous or his staff!

Dr Bestawrous is kind and caring. However, he tends to just throw medication at the symptoms rather than fix the cause.
