There are many stories about this doctor in Tillamook, all bad. I will stick to only the stories I know personally. My daughter had severe toxemia while pregnant and he never told her even when it threatened her life and my unborn grandson. She was Life-flighted to Portland and the doctors there saved both lives. Those doctors told us what was happening after receiving her files from Dr. Sayler. I had a friend move to Tillamook and went to this doctor to have a local physican whi8le keeping her doctor in Portland. She had a history of Chrohn's disease from age 18, with several surgeries. When she went to Dr. Sayler at age 40 he read her files and told her it was all in her mind. A heavyset friend went to Dr. Sayler with foot pain; after taking x-rays he told her there was nothing wrong-if she lost weight her foot pain would go away. A doctor in Portland, using the same x-rays, found broken bones in both feet and she ended up having surgery.
