This guy is a quack. My wife spent 125k with this jquack over 3 plus years. 1000 plus per month on suppliments. She takes no less than 25 different pills twice a day every day. When he calls her for her consultation, that costs $300 for 15 mins, I overheard him multiple times ask my wife "what did I tell you last time" Wouldnt a Dr have your chart in front of him and be well versed in your case? My wife is starting her own business, and had to purchase disability insurance for her employees and payroll. Because of what this quack wrote in her medical file, she didnt qualify for normal insurance. We even got turned down by Lloyds of London. We had to go to an extreme risk company and pay 200% more than any other normal person. Beware how on edge of the law his practice is. The blood tests he gives can not be mailed out and post marked in NY. My wife has to drive to Mass or Conn to mail them out. Stay away from this guy. And the end is I am getting divorced because I tried to stop my wife from getting ripped off by this guy and she choose him over me. Worst part is my wife is a Dr. And fell into his trap. This quack will get his.

My wife and I met with Dr. Bock in person on 2/24/20 for addressing my wife's lyme condition in Santa Monica. The charge was $1200 for roughly an hour. He was supposed to have looked over all the labs and paperwork on his flight from NY to LA, but that had not happened. He was uncaring, curt, provided no help, but said he would follow up in 3 days when he got back to NY with direction. On March 3rd days after his promise, we had a phone consult for another $300 and it was unhelpful. His office sent a supplement but she couldn't take it because there were ingredients she couldn't take. I eventually sent it back to their NY office and had to call them and ask for credit for the roughly $75 supplement since I had not heard from them. The item was not going to expire for another 6 months, but the lady said it was beyond their return policy, but she would check with the office manager. I never heard back from her. It appears it's not helping people but all about the money for this practice.

Steer clear. We have seen at least six Lyme-literate physicians and he was by far the worst (and most expensive). Thousands in appointments, thousands in tests and he did absolutely NOTHING.

Dr. Bock is a good doctor, but he doesn't seem to grasp the basic fact that he isn't affordable for most people. I was a patient of his for a few years. When you first go to see him at his Rhinebeck office, his office staff puts you through your paces with about 15 to 25 pages of patient forms that you have to fill out and sign your life away, promising to pay, which is fine, but it's a little bit overkill. You get the feeling that they think you're there to rip someone off and not pay. A simple one page signature will suffice. He'll see you for maybe 15 to 20 minutes, and then wants you to purchase his vitamins in-house from their office, which ran into the thousands. I paid $2,500 for blood tests that were inconclusive and weren't helpful, and their office staff seems super disorganized. They're still running their office with stacks and stacks of paper. The nurses don't return calls, and absolutely no one calls you to even check up on you or give you blood work results. You have to call to find out. I do really think he's a good doctor, and I'm so glad to have a Lyme literate doctor in our area who's so involved with ILADS, but I wish he would FINALLY heed patient reviews and greatly improve in ALL of these areas. Not everyone that goes to him can afford to pay the hefty fees. Expand your practice if you need to. Hire more doctors and staff - but be a doctor for the people, not just the big money.

Dr. Bock has been very helpful but dealing with his staff is horrible. They never follow through and never return messages.

After months of being sent from doctor to doctor for a diagnosis we were lucky enough to find Dr Bock!! He diagnosed and treated my son and we saw results almost immediately. My son went from being on crutches at 20 yrs old to walking without them within two weeks. He's back to himself and being successful in a college setting.

I have been trying to find a Lyme doctor for sometime now and finally I have found Dr. Bock. He has really helped me over the last few months and couldn't thank him enough. He at times, is unorganized and I don't think he follows up with staff appropriately with certain things. It seems like he keeps all the information in his head. I also have a hard time getting through to the nurses, no one ever answers the phone and you always have to wonder if they got your call or if it is being handled. Other than that the rest of the staff is extremely helpful especially when I have had lab or supplement questions. They pick up right where Dr. Bock left off. They have been absolute lifesavers in all of this. Thank you Dr. Bock and staff I haven't felt this good in such a long time!
