My father saw Dr. Gu in his office regularly over a period of a year. He did tests, then a quick (5 minutes or less) exam every time, and billed a fortune for the highest level of office visit. He never gave my dad any medication or offered any suggestions at all. Just said come back in 6 weeks every time for more of the same. I have since taken him to another doctor who gave him medication, and my dad immediately got better! In a matter of days! DO NOT waste your time and money on this office! They don't seem to have interest in the patient at all.

Been with Dr. Malka for many years and at one time he was very exceptional - a 5 star Neurologist, ranked one of the best; nevertheless his Nurse, Linda Bark is quite arrogant, yet arrogant still insomuch I've learned to work around her as she's quite moody. The thing here is, Medicare is being charged for the Dr's visit when I am not seeing him but his Nurse? Over the years it's waxed worse and worse. For reasons I cannot explain, I feel now you can accomplish more talking to a wall than to get any answers from them a total turn around where even family members have noticed these changes as well. To get yelled at because I arrived at my appointment date, no one even called to state I had been rescheduled several weeks earlier, even though their claim that they left a message on my answering machine and I do not have an answering machine? Rude Staff, Obnoxious Nurse, and now a Ignoramus Doctor?

I was told that being my son didnt show a tic when he had his appt. I could just bring him in, I called a few days ago to verify that I could bring him in and after taking time out of work and taking my son out of school I was then told no. This is after sitting there there 40 mins and everyone making their lunch order. This is not what medicine is meant to be.

I saw the nurse pract and told her what medication I have been taking for the migraines for the past 15 years (fioricet) and she asked me what else I am on so I told her that I take Lyrica for carpal tunnel, she said ok and sent me to the front I thought that she writes the script and gives it to the front desk girls to make a copy and then they give it to you, when I got up to the front the girls up there said the nurse pract did not give them a script to give me nor did she say for me to come back in to follow up, I asked them to find her and ask her for my script and they wouldnt they just said that maybe she will have them call it in. It was never called in so i made another appt and went back in the next week and she yelled me and said that she told me that she was not giving me anything because I was taking too much other medications, I told her I was only on one other med and she said she doesnt have time for this and walked out. I have never been back to that office.

Has his own agenda and if you do not answer his question within 2 seconds, he moves on to next question. No physical exam either and never even faces the patient.

Dr. Malka's office staff is rude, unprofessional and ignorant. I was there for my husband's first appointment and we never even saw the doctor because his staff wanted to charge more than what my insurance said I would owe. They wouldn't even let me call my insurance company to straighten it out!!! I work in a doctors office and tried to explain the insurance to them and they would not hear any of it or look at the paperwork. They talk about you and other patients right in front of a waiting room full of people. I or my doctor I work for will never refer any patients there again. I did see the doctor from afar tell his receptionist he needed to leave early and to cancel his last three appointments. Thanks for the notice! Do not waste your time or money here.

Dr. Malka said he could " fix what was wrong with me". I saw him this one time and then for the next six or seven months I saw his assistant. I was not " fixed " and when my sister complained to Dr. Malk about the care that I was recieving he walked out on us.

Dr. Malka is the worst phy I have ever seen.He is very rude, won't listen to your concerns, his offc staff Jeannie is truly a liar,I was referred to him because I was admitted to the hosp. However when I went for a follow up in his office he wrote out 3rx for me and would not explain why I needed to take them. However he told me to come back in a month.I called his offc for another concern,I was told by his staff they would check with him and return my call.2 days went by,still no return call.If you are thinking about seeing this Dr DON'T!!In his office is a phy by the name of Dr.Gu he is wonderful, however I won't continue with him because it's Malka's practice. He billed my ins for comp visit and did not examine me.He walked out of the exam room with an attitude. He had the nerve to call my concerns Monkey Buss(I was trying to tell him my legs are very painful when and I fell a few times). That's a neuro prob and he called it monkey buss. He was acting like the monkey in the zoo!
