Agree with all other comments. Was not friendly at all, defensive answers to my questions, got VERY upset when I had insurance questions. I thought he was going to walk out on me. I went in for large wart removal, and he was visibly upset by my questions, he grabbed my hand, started zapping, was not even actually on the wart. I was afraid to poing this out but I did and he shut the machine down, stated to the assistant I need a followup in 2 weeks and walked out. I have NEVER been treated like this by ANYONE. I do not think it is a sense of humor as I saw him visibly aggitated. I wish I had a resource to complain further. I do not know if I can return for the followup. He will see it did'nt work as he was not actually on the wart!!!

I saw Dr Sondag for a red growth on my nose. He took a tongue depressor and roughly scraped it and said "It's a hemangioma, follow me, sit down, put these goggles on." Never once explaining or getting consent for the procedure. I could only assume he was going to laser it off. He never numbed my nose or explained how many "zaps" I would receive. The laser was extremely painful. After about the 5th zap, I had tears rolling down my face and he just kept on going even though anyone could see I wasn't tolerating. He had the nerve to say, "Don't let me forget to write in your chart that you are a cry baby!" I left with a dime sized BLACK throbbing spot on my nose and no follow up care instructions! I went the next day to another MD because I didn't know if the black discoloration and pain were normal. Please do not let this uncaring, incompetant man near you!!! My sister called the office manager to complain but it fell on deaf ears. Please see anyone other than this sociopath!!!!

Dr. Sondag has a very dry sense of humor which to some may come across as uncaring. I appreciate his approach -- he is not an alarmist -- he provides a diagnosis and treatments available. He has never made me feel rushed. He always takes the time to explain the condition and treatment options.

Dr. Sondag is knowledgeable but I admit he does have an attitude problem. He couldn't care less about being nice to you. If you ask a question he does not like, he doesn't mind being outspoken and unprofessional. He is also one of those doctors that try to rush you out of his office.

I found Dr. Sondag to be friendly and willing to listen and take time to answer all of my questions. He also has a sense of humor.

This is the worst Doctor I have ever seen in my life! Did not want to answer questions about something suspicious on my nose just wanted to hurry up and do a biopsy on the side of my nose and told me to hurry up and make my decision (only 5 min. into my $100 appt) I am afraid of needles and since it was on my face I wanted to think about it when I asked more questions he became agitated and walked out I followed him and told him he was an **** he smirked I asked him what health network he works for I wanted to make a complaint, he said he does not work for a network he is the one to make a complaint to and would not look at me the biggest jerk of a doctor I have ever met. I will be reporting him to the State of Wisconsin board of Physicians. His behavior is unacceptable.
