I saw Dr. Epperson in June 2010, was told when I called to make the appt. that as a mater of fact Dr. Epperson had told the receptionist she could actually add a few more appointments to his log that day. She gave me 2 choices so I chose the later time of the two. I waited a long time in his waiting room to see him and a lengthy time in the examining room to see him. I heard him when he walked up to my door, picked up my chart and looked over it for what might have been 30 seconds at best. He walks into the room doesn't even smile or even attempt to shake my hand or even look my way. He asked for the reasons of my visit. I told him the problems I was having and thought there might be a neurological reason? He quickley said no he did not think I needed his services and even seem annoyed that I was taking up his precious time and even commented that he was working patients on an emergency basis only as one of his co-partners were out with cancer. I even apologised for being there.

Dr. Epperson was very knowledgable and treated me with respect and seem to really care about my problem. I have used him before and that is why I chose to use him again because he did not waste anytime in getting things done. I would have no problem in recommending him to my family and friends. My son-in-law used him and he was also satisfied with Dr. Epperson's care.

I have used Dr. Epperson off and on for 11 years. He seems to be short with you but if you talk to him he is really very understanding. He wants you to take part in your health care not just depend on what he says. He wants you to make some of the choices. Also he is very brilliant mind and sometimes he is thinking ahead and what apprears to be rudeness is his mind racing on to all of the things he is covering. I have worked with people like this before and as long as you work with them and not just get mad and walk out you will have above average care. But you have to speak up. Not just sit there and make him pull every word out of you. Take part in what is going on. By the time you need a Dr like him you need to be very involved with what is wrong with you or your family member or you may never get them well. He may try 10 things, it's up to you to call him back each time and say I am not better. Not just get mad and say he is a lousy Dr. It may have worked on 9 out of 10 people.

Dr. Epperson acts like his patients are wasting his time. I felt like cattle being herded in/out. He only wanted to medicate me instead of treating the actual problem. His office staff are very rude. I tried him for about 5 visits, but finally had enough.

I will be changing doctors. This doctor seems more annoyed by patient conditions and their questions than he is interested in providing help.

There is nothing positive to say about Dr. Epperson. I'm sorry- nothing at all. He is arrogant, and really seems disinterested in seeing his patients. His comments to my husband were downright rude, and he was not at all helpful with my husband's illness. No, I would not, and will not ever recommend him to any of my family or friends.
