Only thing he cares about is $$$ you pay &you get you're needed medicine. If a true emergency occurs he will literally say oh sorry you call when you have money &I'll send prescription in then ok &this is for every medicine no matter the risk of death if suddenly stopped... I've literally witnessed this with many patients he have any ethical or moral code just money &if you need a couple different medicines well you better be ready to pay for it because he won't help anyone. He took an oath &his staff is extremely slow he will threaten to cut you off the medicines you have been taken every single day for 12 years(antidepressants, benzo etc.) He really doesn't care unfortunately im not sure how to find a doctor to continue my medication &help me adjust the doses to help! No one accepts patients anymore....

The wait time at this office is ridiculous ; they have no respect for anyone's time. Also, be sure he accepts your insurance before you go, because his office staff will not do this. He was VERY quick to push medication without gathering all of the facts. :-(
I do not recommend this doctor.

Dr. Mudumbi offers no counseling at all. His only solution is medication prescription, and he became angry with me when I refused to give my son 7 antipsychotic prescriptions as he was prescribing. If you are looking for counseling or behavior management strategies you WILL NOT get it. I believe the levels of medication he was prescribing to be very dangerous. His appointments were no longer than 15 minutes ever though I was charged an hour every time. Beware!!

Will diagnose you with anything. Be VERY careful with this man. Does not care in the least about your symptoms and how to combat them...instead will give you more drugs that quite possibly will only increase the problems you are having. If that happens, he will diagnose you with something else entirely so as to add ANOTHER drug on top of all the ones you are taking. He does not believe in withdrawals from anything, including benzos and effexor. If you describe withdrawal symptoms you have experienced, he will dimiss your complaints and make you feel as if you need to pop another pill, because it's "all in your head." Oh yes, and his wife (who is the office manager) will treat terribly. "Not a people person" is a loose description.
